As you may know, there are unscrupulous individuals on the internet who delight in exposing others to unwanted spam and the distribution of worms, trojans and the like.

Placing a caveat on the sharing of information, whereby FReepers need communicate with you beyond the parameters of FreeRepublic is unnecessary, and raises a concern I'm sure you did not intend.

It might be a better course of action for you to simply post a link to the files/websites you have in mind for review by any and all, at their discretion.

He's OK. He sent me the docs, he's on the level.

Inasmuch as FR has an optional field to display a poster's email address (at the poster's option), I don't think there's anything "against the rules" WRT to a poster providing his email address if he so chooses. Others, if they're concerned, can use a "throw-away" account to contact him.

I would prefer to believe pc93 is of good heart.

Nonetheless, because I and most are not psychic, it is better to work from known quantities than hope that an unknown quantity isn't a threat.

"...who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men" ( a theme from a East Coast mystery radio show "The Fat Man" I listened to as a child). On the internet this is sage advise.
