You find it strange that some people would wait a few years before speaking up and stepping forward to get involved?

I find it exceedingly strange that medical professionals would stand idly by while the things these three women claimed were happening happened. They were risking their licenses by doing so. And now, suddenly, 6-10 years later, they "suddenly" remember all these things.

But the most telling part is that none of it is relevant, because it all pertains to the patient's condition many years ago. There was a panel of physicians approved by the court who examined her less than a year ago, and the majority, including a neurological specialist imported from Ohio to be sure of his utter impartiality, found that she is in a persistent vegetative state with no chance of recovery.

But sure, why not -- let's take the recollections of a decade ago from a couple of nurses aids and an LPN, and let that trump recent, thorough examinations by five specialists. Makes sense to me.

The problem is, the panel of physicians was approved by the court, which appears to be pro-death. I believe I have read that the judge admitted once to having read only one of six favorable reports filed by physicians on behalf of Terri Schindler.

Don't you think Terri ought to be given a chance to have therapy, if there are doctors who say there are possiblilities for Terri?

"....suddenly, 6-10 years later, they "suddenly" remember all these things."

The whole reason for this confrontation lies in a Terri's adulterous husband 'suddenly' recalling his wife saying she would take a pass on medical treatment intended to merely keep her alive. He made no such claim when he was pushing to get as much money as he could in his lawsuit against doctors, lawyers, Indian chiefs, and anyone with deep pockets. The money won was supposed to provide medical treatment and therapy for Terri.

But no. No treatment. No therapy. So says Terri's court appointed guardian - her beloved husband.

While Terri has - by his order - deteriorated from lack of proper medical attention, her beloved and distraught husband wasted no time finding a woman to impregnate and bear his child.

Little wonder about his motivation to terminate the life of his beloved wife. He wants the money. But it's not all about money is it!

Terri's family offered to give him the balance of the money if he would only give up his role as guardian. He refused. He wants the money, and he wants Terri dead.

WHY??????????

His attorney in the meantime is a euthanasia proponent. He is gleefully doing anything and everything to assure Terri is 'processed'.

The judge is a puke. A waste of human skin. He is said to be a part of an old boy network that runs the hospice where Terri has less rights and is experiencing a complete absence of medical attention we regularly provide a federal prison inmate. She would have been better off is she committed a crime. At least her dearly beloved wouldn't be able to hold a hammer over her head - with the aid of government.

So tell me, Brandon:
If you say the shoe fits for denying the recall of events 6 to 10 years ago by those who had a one-on-one knowledge about Terri treatment, a reasonable man would say you agree a fair application of your logic would hold we apply the same standard to a six to ten year self-serving 'recall' uttered by Terri's slimeball snake of a husband or any member of his tribe who 'suddenly' echo the same mantra?

There was a panel of physicians approved by the court who examined her less than a year ago, and the majority, including a neurological specialist imported from Ohio to be sure of his utter impartiality [sic], found that she is in a persistent vegetative state with no chance of recovery.

But, perhaps her condition is still reversible.

I keep wondering what any eeg's, brain scans, say about her condition.

My guess is that she isn't brain-dead.

Could severe depression, on top of the insult to her brain, be contributing to the way her responses are diminishing over time?

I know I'd be depressed if I were in her condition. Medication might help with that.

You couldn't have read the affidavit well. The nurse was an LPN 4 years before becoming an RN -- she was an RN when in contact with Terri.

I find it exceedingly strange that you are so thick-headed. Tell us, Brandon, exactly why do you think Terri was moved from a nursing home facility to a hospice facility. People go to a hospice where they are expected to die. But Terri hasn't...she has clung to life...eeked it out day after languishing day for YEARS! Why is it taking so long for Terri to die? The answer: because she is not in a persistant vegitative state, as they are diagnosing her!! She is being mis-diagnosed!!! She is a brain-damaged person, who, whether or not she ever regains anything other abilities, has the right to stay alive, as long as she is treated with appropriate medical treatment. Her husband disallows anything of the sort!!

Open your eyes, Brandon!!
