Given the mini-bio at the bottom of the text, I'd presume she's his current item.

I missed the bio at the bottom, and you're right, it does say husband as in current, however, earlier on this thread, someone posted an article about George Felos that said he's twice divorced. Then I saw that her article was from the fall of 99, so she must be one of his exes.

"Michael Schiavo: I feel wonderful. She's my life and I wouldn't trade her for the world. I believe in my wedding vows. "

If he believed in wedding vows he wouldn't be shacked up with another woman and having kids with her. He's obviously a liar based on that comment alone.

Yes, he was allowed to pay legal fees with it!

Thanks! I hadn't seen that.

There's little to no mention of the costs of the nursing home and/or hospice.

I just finished reading the complaint filed yesterday. It mentioned that nothing has been to paid to Woodside yet. Here's what the complaint says (see page 19):

#52. It is believed that co-conspirator George J. Felos combined and conspired with defendant Michael Schiavo to arrange for Terri's "free" stay at Hospice Woodside as part of an "exit protocol" designed to advance Felos' self-perceived messianic mission of "helping" incapacitated people to die by categorizing them as "terminal", warehousing them, and depriving them of therapy and rehabilitation services.

Here's the link: Complaint

This is a must read! There are quotes from Felos' book "Litigation as a Spiritual Practice". He is a total nutcase! The complaint covers everything we've been talking about here. Violations of her civil rights, ADA laws, the suspicion of abuse, Felos' pro-euthanasia agenda... everything!

Also mentions that the guardian ad-litem, Pearse, was gotten rid of because Felos didn't like what he had to say in his affidavit!

A cynical man might interpret that as a hope that she dies over the long holiday weekend, sparing them all the "trouble."

I fear you are correct.

In all fairness to the FEDERAL Judge, these affidavits were filed Saturday and are new to the "case"...to the best of my knowledge.

I'm painting my bathroom today. I think I saw a timeline on Terri's official page. Maybe my recollection is wrong. Anyway, riddle me this. 1. How long was George Felos on the Board of Hospice? Begin & End Date. 2. When did George Felos first have knowledge of Terri Schiavo? 3. When did Michael Schiavo hire George Felos?

1. He was Co-Director or on the board from '97 (pretty sure) until at least 1-16-01 (positive) -- that's when the paperwork was filed to have him removed. 2. I would think that, considering where his interest lie, he would have sought Terri out immediately upon appointment as chair, if not before. Perhaps that's why he enlisted. 3. I'm not sure. I don't believe Felos was his atty. during the malpractice suit, and he was in '01. Therefore '97 - '01 at least.

Check this out from the Office of the Health & Human Services Inspector General. It appears there are others like Terri in that Hospice. Since this report is old -- who knows whether they have been "allowed to die" or not? Is Terri just another in a long list?

I got this review of Terri's facility from HHSIS' website. I would think (read = hope) that they would be interested in this action. And yes, they have a HOTLINE!!! The number follows at the end of my post.

This was in .pdf format, and I will e-mail it to anyone who wants it. I'm doing some comparison research that I think will be very telling and will post the results when I have it.

This is what the executive summary of the study/review of Suncoast had to say:

Our review included a medical evaluation of Suncoast's eligibility determinations for 364 beneficiaries who had been in hospice care for more than 210 days. Of the 364 cases, 237 were active in hospice at the time of our review and represented 26 percent of the total active Medicare hospice beneficiaries at Suncoast as of April 30, 1995. The review showed that:

176 of the beneficiaries were not eligible for hospice coverage; and,

for 118 beneficiaries, we were unable to conclusively determine their terminal illness.

and further down....

We believe the identified problems occurred for the 176 beneficiaries because hospice physicians made inaccurate prognoses of life expectancy based on the medical evidence in the patients' files. FOR THE 118 BENEFICIARIES, the evidence in the patient's medical files was not sufficient to determine that the beneficiary was terminally ill.

Disturbing, huh? Perhaps they would be interested in knowing just how disturbing that is to us. They have a hotline -- Contacting the HHS OIG Hotline

Thanks, my bad, Don Joe pointed that out to me as well. My confusion was a result of my brain disconnecting between how you headed the post and the content which told of events from years ago. Hopefully these will make the necessary difference.

IMO when he was on the Hospice Board, he had a fiduciary and oversight responsibility extended to each client-patient of the Hospice program. Did he breach that oversight responsibility when he became involved with Michael Schiavo? I think so because he sided with Michael when Atty Rep papers were signed. But, he and hubby were able to convince J. Greer that Terri wished to die. There is absolutely no way they could know that for certain.

Terri's existence shouldn't depend upon opportunitists' biased positions.

O' Reilly knows. John Kasich knows. CNS news - Jeff Johnson knows. World Net Daily knows. Drudge knows. Hannity knows. Columnist Mary Jo Melone knows. Columnist Debra J. Saunders knows. All Florida newspapers know. I know I've left out some media because this is snowballing.

I think that when Judge Greer put Gov. Bush's letter in the file, that was the beginning of the end of Judge Greer's career. Felos should have a Bar Complaint registered against him and Hospice should be investigated by 60 Minutes and I'll watch it for the first time in years.

Since this is not a state's right's issue. What difference does it make if some doc shows up from Ohio to render an "utterly impartial" opinion? Expert witness ARE PAID HIGH FEES TO APPEAR AS SUCH.

What does being from Ohio have to do with being utterly impartial? This is not about Florida as a whole. It's about one disabled woman. Their arguments and spin is weak and hopefully, they'll be all spun out soon if Federal Judge Richard Lazzarra puts a stop to this madness this coming Tuesday.

Help! Any idea why I only get a blank page when I click on your complaint link? Obviously it works for you...anyone else have this problem? PDF files usually open just fine for me.

It's a rather large file, and it opened very slowly for me -and I'm on cable. Try it again and wait a couple of minutes and see if it works.

The lesson here is that even at a young age, we need to get our Wills and Living Wills that specify without a shadow of a doubt, what our last wishes are.

Dying with a Living Will means that someone like Attorney Felos has J. Greer's blessing to ship disabled spouses to hospice care to end their life. Felos is taking advantage of a young person who didn't take the time to draw up a proper Will, etc.

It reminds me of the Wizard of Oz after Dorothy throws a bucket of water on the Wicked Witch and she melts away. The Witches' Honor Guard wanted to make sure she was really dead & and then they celebrated.

Terri is not really in a vegitative state but they want to make sure that she's really dead. Nothing less will do unless Judge Greer or the 2nd DCA has a change of heart. Let's hope Greer sees the light of day and comes out of the darkness.

Is this his current wife or one of the two who divorced him? Nice cottage industry they've got going. If wife's dad had better care, he wouldn't not have died from gangrene-sepsis. Felos and the female Felos don't seem to care for anti-biotics or intensive care. They are pro-death and "no coders". Sometimes, a no code is okay if the person is really suffering but other people's dying is their bread and butter.

There could be kickbacks flying all over the place the way they've set up their "industry".

Let us not forget that if Terri could be placed under the care of her loving parents, she wouldn't have nursing home expense, would probably have a home health care worker drop by to check on her every day. That's a lot more economical. But, noooooooo. The parents can't even offer.

His 2nd divorce was ongoing in 2001. So, the blonde wife, you'd have to check the date of that page that you went to to try and tell if she's ex-wife or current. The guy is from another planet but managed to father a son.
