Unfortunately, nothing. I live out here in the Socialist Republic of Kalifornia, where everyone's obsessed with this Recall circus. There's nothing else on the radio or TV, and every time Arnold opens his mouth, it's "breaking news". I emailed the media, and will continue to do so, but this story is going to have a hard time getting public notice out here. It sounds like there's much more interest in Florida and other parts of the country.

But I'll keep trying to get through, and also keep praying for a happy outcome.

What's been gleaned so far from perusing latest posts on this thread is that we are all (in our own style & with unique ability to contribute) joined in the effort to prevent the killing of a fellow human being. We appreciate the forum provided by FreeRepublic that allows us to communicate and do not wish to jeopardize it.

CNN TALKBACK LIVE Ending Life Support: Who Decides? Aired May 30, 2001 - 15:00   ET seems to say that Schiavo's testimony, that Terri would not want care, should not be allowed because he has a financial stake in the "case."

BATTISTA: How does anybody know whether a husband and wife has had that sort of discussion [about what type of care Terri would want]? There usually is never a witness to that.

ECKERT: Well, let me explain this to you. If an attorney had represented her, they would have objected to that testimony, because it comes under what's called a well-known law called the Dead Man's Statute.

You can't testify about what a dead person or incompetent person testifies to if you have financial stake. The financial stake in this case was $700,000. His second girlfriend, Ms. Shook, who they did take the deposition of, says he kept asking her what to do. He never said, "Terri, this or that," but it was all in a life context.

Should the Judge have disallowed that testimony?

MICHAEL SCHIAVO makes counter-punch, files an emergency motion to the 2nd DCA to speed up the date of the 9-11-03 because they are concerned Judge Greer may recuse himself.

Further, FELOS stated to WFLA radio that "he has received death threats and so has Judge Greer." BINGO. That should DISQUALIFY JUDGE GREER RIGHT THERE. He has conferred with Attorney Felos about DEATH THREATS. How else would he know?

Kind of ironic that a death advocate is playing the "my life has been threatened card."

Why does Felos know that Judge Greer has received death threats when we called Judge Greer they were not able to get involved or pass our complaints on to the Judge? But, hubby's attorney confers with Judge Greer about each getting death threats. THERE'S YOUR BIAS.

MICHAEL SCHIAVO'S emergency is that he will not be allowed to have Hospice if he has to wait until Sept. 11th to get on with it!!!!!

As soon as Charlie Crist took the oath of office for Florida's AG, he announced that he was going to challenge cases of fraud and abuse against Florida's most vulnerable. I wasn't on line but heard it on 970 a.m. Floridians who can get wfla 970, that's Glenn Beck's local station. Turn your radio on to hear the next news break.

(I think if Greer and Felos shared info and Felos blurted it out to a radio station, that shows there is a relationship between Felos and Greer). Greer is supposed to be impartial. Never was, never will be imo.

Husband Michael is afraid his plans will be all ruined again? (rhetorical)

Even if someone called or wrote "Walk a mile in her shoes." to spin it, Felos could characterize that as a death threat. Blurting out Greer's death threats may have been a tactical decision so Greer would be disqualified. Hope Felos doesn't have a backup hanging judge up his sleeve.

We've had some positive word from Terri Schiavo's camp. They have another attorney as co-counsel who has done a Motion to Disqualify Judge Greer.

If Judge Greer is disqualified, Terri, 38, has a chance to live. If not, Greer is he** bent to pick the date starvation begins. The date of that hearing is SEPTEMBER 11, 2003.
