yes, but you're a good stinker. By the way, folks, I have confirmed to my satisfaction that this really is Pamela Hennessy. Let's give her a warm welcome.
PH, it would have been possible for someone to sign up under your name and 'yank our chains' -- that's why I e-mailed you. Thanks for being so understanding about it.

Boy, you've got my brain humming! Heads up, one and all! As they used to say (what show was it, Hill Street Blues, right?) Let's Be Careful Out There. Remember, people advancing an agenda like this one are dangerous -- whether overtly or covertly.

Kimmie, is there any word on whether the Schindlers will be able to return to the clintoid federal judge on Friday or the following Monday to re-argue the case for a change in custody? George Greer will order the removal of the feeding tube Thursday, probably for as early as Friday or the following Monday. Whether Greer will remove the tube is not at debate: he has already decided that. Greer will remain firm to the euthanasia cause even if it costs him his judgeship, which he is confident will not happen.
Is there a way to recall Greer? Are any people picketing Greer's office next week? He will probably relish in saying "No" to the conservative opposition to him.
What has happened to Pinellas County? It used to be a real conservative stronghold, had a Republican congressman as early as 1955.
This is a real "American Tragedy." Where is the socialist author Theodore Dreiser when we need him?

Good questions. From my understanding, most of the parties involved are of the opinion that Greer will either delay setting a date or set it for significantly after enough time has lapsed for the Schindlers to re-file and have a hearing in Federal Court. The thought just occurred to me that he is so wrapped up in this perhaps he will not. And if people couldn't see the glaring bias in that THEY DON'T WANT TO SEE IT.
I'm researching judicial recalls now.
Sad, isn't it. What a world. What a sorry state our once-great country is in.

Kimmie, is Michael Schiavo staying now at the hospice round-the-clock to make sure that there is no effort to help this poor creature feed herself after Friday? Wouldn't you think that some of the decent hospice staff members are appalled at all of this chicanery? They must be amazed that such conduct is going unchallenged by the political leadership of FL.
Are the Schindlers allowed in to see her at all? Some reports say they do "visit," but it does not specify how long they may stay.
I wonder if the Schindlers are planning to move out of FL once she is starved. I don't see how they could continue to make their home in that state. They will develop a visceral hatred for FL if they stay there, it would seem to me.
She will be cremated and her ashes probably scattered over Tampa Bay.

glaring bias
Indeed Greer is biased in favor of euthanasia. It has been mentioned that Greer is in the best of health, is a marathon runner, has many interest, and leads a "wonderful life." Greer is also biased against the disabled. Talking about "relating to," a favorite liberal shibboleth! Greer compares the less fortunate to himself, and they will not measure up to his health standards.
Isn't it a pity that the "compassion" that he and his fellow liberals claim to extol cannot be visited on this poor unfortunate one that they will starve to death?
To: Theodore R.; All
Nancy Valko, an ICU RN (search google for her writings if she is not known to you), seems to think that if the Schindlers lose Terri, it will be a major victory for the culture of death.
Apparently no other family has fought this hard or spent this much time and effort. So if they lose, the next family in line will be likely to be told or to think that pursuing legal recourse is hopeless.

To the best of my knowledge, Schiavo is not coming round the hospice facility. Her family are the ones spending time with her - pretty much around the clock.
I would imagine a great many staffers at Hospice are appalled by all of this. How could anyone look upon this 10 year case of abuse and not feel changed or disgusted?

You know, I remember some group of activists that had some thing to do with Michael Moore....(get the duct tape, as Glenn Beck says)....and they used WESTERN UNION to immediately send thousands of little yellow letters to someones office.
To: Theodore R.
There's nothing here that age won't cure, Theodore R. ~ a remembered phrase that was one of my Grandmother's favorites. The Honorable Judge Greer will, most likely, experience the ills and frailties that are visited upon all of humankind, but, please God, may his heart be stirred for Terri right now ...
