Why should that be so unless you are convinced you either already possess conclusive knowlege of the metaphysical, or you just don't think it worth considering. That being said, why would you oppose the efforts of others to spread their beliefs to still others who may hunger for said ideas? I may not like cats, but I don't expect them to say anything other than meow.

I dare say, I'd agree with you if there were no qualitative difference between jewels and cut glass. As there is a difference, I would think one better served by becoming educated on those differences rather than discarding any shiney crystal that happened to fall into my possession.
