Did it an hour ago. Everyone should call Governor Bush to thank him and also to state that the "guardian ad litem" recommendation to J. Greer is a step in the right direction for Terri and her parents.

#1-850-488-7146 Gov. Bush

His staff is very cordial and I've been calling Gov. Bush since he became Governor and it seems there's not a lot of turnover because he's a good boss.

I don't know if Judge Greer is appointed or elected. If he is elected, locals should remember to vote him out next time.

I guess that her Ex-Husband is none to happy with this development. Now there is another delay with his getting complete say in using the money, of which he mostly concerned about, whatever way he wishes and not having to continue to pay for his ex- wifes medical care.

I suppose that this payment is something that he no longer wishes to be burdened with, after all if she continues to live he will, sooner or later, run out of money he believes is his to lavish on himself and his live in girlfriend.

Good for him. This story was getting hard to take.No judge should play god and let the poor woman starve to death.I'm glad Jeb stood up on this one.

There are dead people who are frozen in the hope that someday science can bring them back to life and cure them.

Yet there are those who say Terri's condition is hopeless--even though she is still alive.

not having to continue to pay for his ex- wifes medical care.

I understand he has consistently refused her any form of therapy. Wouldn't it be a kick in the pants if this could be arranged through state mandate!

Her husband is a destestable s....g! (too polite to say it).

No judge should play god

Forget god--most judges and lawyers are incompetent when it comes to making decisions based on "science" (heck, even most scientists and physicians often get such things wrong.)

"the Floridah Supreme Dorks refused to intervene"Of course they didn't.Terri was probably registered as a Republican.

I bet the a**hole husband was the one responsible for her injury.

After much thinking, I have decided that the person's whose advice on this matter I would most respect would be the Terri's mother--over the advice of doctors, scientists, judges, lawyers, philosophers.

This should be for the mother to decide.

I am not against euthenasia when the person whose life or death it is, is the one making the decision.

In cases like this one . . . it's much harder to decide what should be done.

I suspect most doctors haven't a clue about the whole of the human experience.

Their training tends to weed-out the kind of minds that do.
