Ok, here goes...

Thou shalt not kill...Murder is a crime. All degrees of murder are crimes.

Thou shalt not steal...This covers grand theft, embezzlement and right on down to petty shoplifiting.

Thou shalt not commit adultry...Yep, it is still illegal in some states.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor...Perjury comes to mind.

Want more?

"My question is based upon the claim that the 10 Commandments are the foundation for the laws in this country. Please answer my question. Thanks."

Whether you produce one more or ten more Judeo-Christian correlatives to American law, this ilk abides only by its own delusions which fit need only their leftist One-World humanist agenda.

What a laugh. The founding fathers took pains to make sure you are able to disobey the commandment "Thou shall not take the Lord's name in vain" when they crafted the first amendment.

Laws against "Graven images" are also unconstitional

No other Gods before me? Unconstitutional.

Keep the Sabbath Holy? Unconstitutional.

Honor thy Father and Mother. Nupe. Unconstitutional.

Covet thy neighbors wife, house, ox, et. al. - Unconstitutional.

The Commandments are a part of our laws:

Don't Murder, Don't Steal, Don't bear false Witness and Don't commit Adultry.

In some states it may be illegal, but the adultry one is rarely enforced.

Sooooo, only 4 of the 10 have any basis in our laws whatsoever and one of those only marginally so. The remaining three complete no-brainers...Like lawmakers couldn't have figured these out without referring to the Bible's Ten Commandments.
