You've *GOT* to be *KIDDING*. What *DIFFERENCE* does it make if McClintock got more votes than *SIMON*? McClintock *LOST* that race to Steve Westly, an *EMPTY SUIT* with *NO* political experience! If McClintock couldn't win an *EASY* race like that, how is he going to win *THIS* one?
McClintock is a proven *LOSER*. Go Arnold!
Every vote for McClintock is a vote for *GOVERNOR BUSTAMANTE*!
McClintock is not the only Republican to have lost in the 2002 election. Does this mean every person who ever runs for office and fails is a "loser" who can never win again? I pointed out that more people voted for him than Simon as evidence that McClintock is a more attractive candidate than Simon.
So then, with respect to an Arnold/McClintock decision, for the conservative... do you support the guy who approves of child sacrifice, the gay agenda, and has indicated that even more taxation might be in order, or do you vote for the guy who is against all of that and in addition wants to do something serious to deal with the crippling problem of illegal immigration?
Personally, I don't see how someone who can choose Arnold over McClintock can claim to be a conservative.
I guess my final caveat is:
Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
So was Abraham Lincoln...
