Castro man arrested in sex sting

Steven Glidden, 39, was the target of a five-month investigation. He was arrested on Balboa Street at 10:30 a.m. The suspect had arranged the rendezvous on the community web site www.craigslist.com , cops said.
Instead of a boy on summer vacation, cops from the department's Internet Crimes Against Children unit met Glidden.
He was charged with one count of attempted lewd conduct with a child under 14, said PD spokesman Dewayne Tully.
Glidden worked as a real estate broker for Prudential. On his Web site, he states: "My business approach emphasizes lasting relationships based on commitment and trust. Clients also appreciate my down-to-earth style, which gives them a high degree of confidence and comfort."

[I]n East Cambridge, Massachusetts, ten year old Jeffrey Curley was lured into a car by two young men who promised him $50 and a new bicycle.
The criminals, Salvatore Sicari and his homosexual lover, Charles Jaynes, mechanics and petty thieves, had spent months soliciting Jeffrey's trust.
Once they had him in the car, Jaynes reportedly tried to force sex on Jeffrey.
When the child resisted his 300 pound black assailant, Jaynes sat on and suffocated him with a gasoline-soaked rag.
Sicari and Jaynes then drove to New Hampshire where Jaynes abused the boy's body before putting it in a barrel with concrete and dumping it into a river in Southern Maine. --source
[In Charles Jaynes's apartment, a]long with general NAMBLA materials, Cambridge police found a manual titled "Rape and Escape" published by the pedophile organization.
"The book literally details how pedophiles can lure, befriend, and rape a child, then avoid detection and prosecution," Aiken said.
According to trial records, the killers of Jeffrey Curley followed one of the [NAMBLA} manual’s suggestions. The men stole Jeffrey’s bicycle, befriended him as they helped in a fruitless search, then offered to buy Jeffrey a new bike.
The men were on the way to the store with Jeffrey when they offered him money for sexual favors. As Jeffrey rebuffed them, they resorted to force, eventually suffocating the boy. The men then raped the corpse. --source

The ACLU attempted a gag order in this case, though I don't believe it was ever imposed.
The ACLU came to the defense of NAMBLA, who were being sued by the Curley family for inciting Jeffrey's murder (NAMBLA's website provided instructions for luring boys, which the murderers used successfully to kidnap Jeffrey).
The ACLU tried to slap a gag order on the Curleys to prevent them from speaking about the case to the media.
I believe a federal judge has just recently ruled against the gag order, and the Curleys case against NAMBLA will go forward.
Not holding my breath that any of the lamestream media will cover it, though.
. By the way, they are EVERYWHERE- I lived in a very small town in Alaska, and a homo pedophile ring was busted there that included people you would normally trust- like a fireman, a plumber, and an Air Force officer. (OK, I take it back- I wouldn't normally trust an Air Farce officer...)

You see, there are still too many people out there who turn their heads and offer an apothetic, politically correct pass for such things. Therefore, news like this should be reported in a heavilly sarcastic manner, to the point of GLORIFYING the perps and their actions as perfectly normal, and slanting any outrage as "What right do you HOMOPHOBES have to infringe upon these men's first ammendment rights?" Basically, we need to take their ball and run with it in the direction that even THEY dare not go, FOR THEM.
You do it, ad nauseum, until you have jogged the inwardly outraged from their slumber and into a NORMALLY furious "Hang 'Em" state of mind which, in reality, is where they should be.
We need to wake people up to what Rush Limbaugh has often said..."Words MEAN Things"...There are laws on the books for a reason, and just because some Slick bastard from Arkansas wanted to pretend not no know what the meaning of "is" is (in order to confuse and slip through the legitimate bear trap he'd illegitimately, AND KNOWINGLY, gotten himself into) we shouldn't allow for Dummycrap constituency groups to slide just because they've hyjacked the dictionary & might slap us with one of the pet labels that they reserve for the evil right wing conspiritors.
