Sadly, what you have spoken in tones of irony or sarcasm is believed by many today. Those who have not been taught the history of tyranny and the much shorter history of attempts at freedom often do not even feel the leg irons chafing at their ankles. "There is none so blind as he who will not see". I used to attempt to warn my own father of what was coming from the time I was a teenager and he seemed to think I was out of my mind. The time approaches when only the truly psychotic will still imagine that they are free.
Let all those who still live in Lala land flame away at will, I served in this country's Navy and I honor all those who have and still do defend her but we are no longer fighting to preserve freedom for it has already been lost, we are fighting for the chance to survive.
