" Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine announced Friday in Washington". Don't know if this is a Washington-based group, but it was announced "in" Washington which seems to me to make it political. In that case, the name of the organization is exactlly the opposite of what it intends to do. Suggesting we adopt a "foreign" hospital policy (socialised medicine) is suspicious. I guess since meat costs more than potatoes, serving more high carb foods is preferable in a socialist system.

Other posters on this thread have said it's a Left-wing group associated with PETA. We shouldn't be surprised.
