Sorry for such a difficult time with your famiy. Your cousin seems to have inherited his mother's mental illness. Which of course may beg the question whether Liberalism in its present form is a mental illness?

You will find leftists will proclaim various abstract moralities but will rob you blind on the molecular individual level.

Difficult situation. Prayers for the soul of your mother Thor, and for the comfort of your father.
Don't worry about these things, they always have a way of working out in the end. They'll see the light one day, let's just hope it's sooner rather than later.

You are a better man than I.
I would have done both brother and sister bodily harm for their funeral performances. Jail would have been worth it.

Pardon my dimestore psychoanalysis, but it sounds to me more like your cousin is mentally ill than he is just a dyed-in-the-wool Liberal. Cheap jokes aside, his actions are not those of a man in control of his mind.

God bless you, your wife, your father and your mother's sainted soul.
And may He see your "brother" ridden out of town on a rail...

What a heartbreaking thing for you to have to endure at such a time. It does sound as if your cousin is mentally ill. Sometimes family relationships simply become impossible. May the Lord bring you and your Father much needed peace and comfort.

My condolences on the loss of your mother, and prayers for your father and you to ease your grief.
Thank you and your father for your service to this country. Because of people like you two, there was a country for me to serve for 20yrs in the AF.
I guess according to your cousin that makes me an immoral, murdering individual too. By what I read of you and your father, I'm in good company.
As for your cousin and "sister", well, you showed far more restraint than I beleive I could have.
God bless.

Something about "nests of vipers" comes to mind.
My prayers are with you and your father. Heroes the both of you (in war and peace it seems).
Regards.

You make no mention of a will or other distribution documents. Perhaps your father has control of all assets?
In any event, I would get a good attorney to provide advice to you and your father and investment counselling regarding any moneys.
Be ready for a challenge to any disposition and try to head it off NOW.

Lawdude,
The purpose of my post was to explain how liberals see others assets as theirs. After the two miscreants attacked my parents, they both executed new wills, new powers of attorney, new medical directives, etc.
My parents finally protected their assets against the two twits, but my parents' assets are not as important as my father's well-being.

Thank you for the kind words. My father and I just saw our duty (with respect to war and protecting the innocent -- guess my cousin/brother does not understand that failing to oppose evil IS evil). And I see my duty to protect my parents from the evil that I saw today.
To: Rivendell
Thank you for the kind words.
What bothers me is that my cousin's "thinking" is typical of what passes for liberal "thought". What the pipsqueak does not understand is that we owe our freedom and way of life to those who have served. In my career, I have not met a single "babykiller" in the service. Almost all are honorable men and women who do not desire to kill enemy combatants let alone innocents. They are thoughtful, well trained and self-restrained. Quite unlike my cousin.
Perhaps it was my training that restrained me -- or rather, helped me restrain myself. But I could almost feel my blood boiling for a few seconds there.
To: WVNan
Yes, my cousin sounds mentally ill, but he has always acted in an unrestrained and angry manner since he became a teenager in the mid-1960s. I suspect his mental illness may be exacerbated by chemical substances.
To: Zeroisanumber
Perhaps, but I in the 50-odd years I have known my cousin, I have yet to see him do anything that would make me call him a man. He is now, and always has been a boy, at best an adolescent.
His attack two years ago upon my parents does not, however, show him to be insane. That was a cold, calculated act to usurp my parents' assets that required cunning and pre-planning.
To: mlmr
Liberalism in its present form in this country is just short of despotic. But I do not consider despots to necessarily be insane or mentally ill.
To: Thor_Hammar
Sorry about your mother. I hope and pray she is with the Lord.
