They'll say its an establishment of religion and state to invoke mention of "God" at a funeral. <sarcasm

Want a government job? Christians need not apply. Or they had better leave their religion at home.

So what are they supposed to say when they hand the flag to the family - "Have a nice day"? Jeez....

Just smile... and "Gesundheit!" would be the sole expression the ACLU theophobes could live with.

The desire of the bureaucrats to leave the religious element in these funerals up to the priests, rabbis and preachers is a sectarian belief.
Going one step further, they are IMPOSING their sectarian belief on their employees and on the folks who attend these funerals.
This is not quite what Judge Moore is doing, but it's what Morris Dees and his fascist buddies at the ACLU would probably like for everyone in government to do. Actually, it's what the fascist federal judge did who wrote the initial ruling in the Moore case ~ the upshot was that he, the judge, believed the rock in the Judicial building to be holy, therefore the rest of us had to accept that as the most legitimate state for that particular rock.
It's time to seek an injunction against the military and VA folks involved in running that particular graveyard because this is exactly what the Founders wished to prohibit.

Since all these attacks are simultaneous it shows a concerted effort nationwide to destroy religion. It is time to change the system and the American people should vote in the judges at all levels.

Just smile... and "Gesundheit!" "Hey, just watch it with the ethnic references, okay ? Don't make me get the ACLU on you!"

Relgion is important for the survival of a society (Sociology 101). Many of those who want to see this country destroyed or weakened will do all they can to damage religion.

It's ridiculous. But the first time he steps on his d**k by saying this to, say, the family of one of our fine Native American warriors, he may begin to reconsider saying it to everyone. When you are presenting the flag to a family, the family's beliefs should be more of a concern than your own.
That being said, it was stupid to fire him over it.

This madness is getting more and more unbelievable. It is hard to understand how a Federal Republic, as large as the Union, could have fallen down the Rabbit Hole with Alice; but this is not the world of reality, as people have ever known it in the previous human experience.
Does anyone in New Jersey have the capacity for a bit of righteous anger? Or are the good folks there content to allow the idiots to run the asylum, so long as those idiots are also absolute fanatics?

Most of our "fine Native American Warriors" are Christian. Were you perhaps thinking of the guys who belong to Native American Church? If so that's a missionary activity of the Apostolic Charismatic Church of the First Born, also a Christian body, albeit with some unusual customs and practices.
If you are thinking of some other group, let us know.

Probably those that follow traditional Native American religions.
