To my knowledge until a couple of generations ago, we never made the serious effort to "rope off" Christianity in our culture and public arena and we did just fine....in fact better.

Does anyone really think removing God from our culture and yes to a degree our public areas coinciding with infanticide, rampant drug use, the dissolution of the family, degradation of firearm's rights and self defense etc, illegitimacy, the demonization of the culture(s) which spawned our nation etc is purely a fluke.

I sure don't. Not to say it's causative exactly but rather complimentary.
