The majority of the people have lost power to the minority of the people.

This is what happens when push come to shove.

What a disappointment for people who elected Republican's which control White House, Senate & House thinking that life would get better for them.

We the people have lost power to the few. Don't look at Capitol Hill for help, no one is listening and help is not on the way.

"Judge Moore should not be defying a judicial order. If that is tolerated, the Rule of Law in this country means nothing. Nothing."

You almost get it. The Law is a joke. Moore didn't make it that way. The ACLU and the leftists made it that way. WE DO NOT RESPECT THE FEDERAL JUDGES? How many people must be arrested before you guys get it? We've had it with them!

Moore's dictates administering the Alabama Judicial Building have the force of law. By placing the monument there he has, by law, favored one religion over others. That is the nut of the issue here.

He did nothing of the sort. Giving a nod to the ten commandments shows no preference. It merely acknowledges the impact the commandments had on the founding of our legal system. The monument witnesses to no one, nor compulses anyone to give heed to any religion. It establishes no religion, nor does it require heeding any religious order or paying homage, tax or tithe to any order. Nor does it infringe upon the rights of anyone.

I'm curious as to which "one religion" the honorable justice has favored.

"I think you'll find if a Christian Church is burned down, it's because another group of Christians deemed those Christians not Christian enough."

You understand us Christians so well. Why just the other day....

I do believe you have issues.

Bull. It does no damage to the rule of law - it merely highlights the limits of the legal system. Moore doing nothing would do a damage to our constitutional rights. And that cannot be.

He favors the God of the Christians and the Jews over the gods recognized by any other religion.

That is his right as a US citizen. Now show me where he has forced you to so do. That is what the Constitution prohibits. And in spite of your statements, you can't show where he has forced you to be a christian or a jew.

Yes, let's be serious, my friend. There's a civil war underway in this country and we must be clear about where we stand. To assuage the hurt feelings of those angry, devious little minds who take offense at every perceived slight is to compromise on a founding principal. I find such compromise to be unacceptable.

Of course the monument should stay. The point was that obviously there was a more secure way to keep it - legally speaking. And there might still be a way.

This issue is more than just about a monument. In and of itself the monument staying or going doesn't effect your right to go to church and worship God, but there is more at work here. The ACLU does not just wish to get rid of a monument, they want our government to become entirely secular. They want the mind of Man to rule instead of the mind of God, and with it the inevitable surrender to the leftist agenda. They want to intimidate politicians to the point where they won't dare mention or discuss God, or dare base any decisions on God's Word at all. That is what I believe is happening here.

There are easier ways of self-promotion than this. He could win a dominoes record, for example, and be world famous. Good grief. People are choosing to get arrested. It's their choice. Why? It's more than the 10 Commandments. Ask any one of them and they will tell you, they want God back in America, and they are fed up with Federal judges. It's far reaching. We are on the OFFENSEIVE, and some pubbies are getting panicky. It's high time we took the offensive.
