Okay kids, it's contest time. Who do you think will be the first reporter, columnist, or televised talking head to claim that the bombing of the U.N. building in Baghdad was actually the work of the CIA, the U.S. military, or maybe even the personal handiwork of George W. Bush himself?
And no fair guessing Al Jazheera. That one is too easy.

Katie Couric was my first guess.
Since she was already picked I'll guess Peter Jennings.

Yes, that closet American Peter Jennings, who hid the fact for many years that he'd become an American citizen.

No, you have to name a
reporter, and it has to be one who claims that Bush actually
ordered the bombing.
To predict that the Democrats will say it's Bush's fault because he created the conditions that permitted this to happen is like predicting that the sun will rise in the east tomorrow morning.

Isn't it obvious to all? EVERYTHING is Bush's fault..the war, the blackout, little green men from Mars, and the cancellation of Rosanne's latest steaming dung heap of a TV show.

I guess Kerry and Graham don't count as "journalists", but they already blamed Bush for this yesterday.
To: brbethke
Extra credit for naming the first reporter to use the words "Reichstag fire" when covering this story.

I will offer a multiple choice reply because there are three most likely suspects. This is a win, place or show answer. 1. Hillary Clinton. 2. Katie Couric. 3. Alan Colmes.
