Ah, trying to nail is different from being able to nail ;-)

All the candidates should be repeating the same question over and over:
"Given the abysmal performance of the Davis Administration, why should anyone in the administration be given a promotion?"
Once that thought sinks in a little bit, Bustamante's support should plummet among everyone except the hard-core Ds.

Too long and complicated for the average Californication voter. They will never be able to remember more than 6 words and none with more than 5 letters.

"Large Breasts." That's the funniest thing I've seen in days. Why not simply paraphrase, and say that "Bustamante" means "Big Boob."

The logic is there, but in actuality, the Lt. Gov. isn't part of the Governor's administration. It's a separate constitutional office, filled by a separate election. During Jerry Brown's tenure as Governor (I think it was his second term), there was a Republican Lt. Gov., Mike Curb.
But I think your logic is correct. Why get rid of one incompetent politician only to replace him with someone who shares the same philosophy of government, and if anything, is even more dull than his Grayness.

It won't be funny, when the population of California selects the next president of the the United States. Well, I'll have to move out of the country and take my small business with me. I left California already, in spite of the fact that I was born there, both my parents were born there, and my daughter was born there.
Fortunately, being an Internet-based business, it's fairly easy to transport. I have already lost my homeland to socialists; I'm well-prepared for the inevitable when it comes.
I here Bermuda's nice. But the Caymans are warmer.
