The show's been in reruns since they left so you haven't missed much. New stuff either started last night or the 26th I forget (I tape it which is why I have no idea what happened last night).

Agree. They were hilarious.
Those two made the show. I have doubts about it now.

I'm looking forward to the new hosts, things have gotten a little stale on the Man Show, I think Jimmy and Adam are pretty much out of ideas, bringing in some new faces and new pervert minds might be just what the show needs. Did you watch it last night? I didn't think it was very good at all. The new guys were just too "juvenile" and it seems as if they have added a new level of vulgarity to the show. Not that there is anything wrong with juvenile or vulgarity, its just that Jimmy and Adam acted more like adults.
I think its just "Coy & Vance" all over again. You can't replace the real thing.
I agree with the "run out of ideas" thing. They should just cancel the show. They are ruining a good thing.

He died. No kidding.
The guy was amazing.
To: HurkinMcGurkin
That's the math of TV, out of ideas isn't a good reason to cancel a show, it needs to be out of viewers. Oh well, it lasted longer than I thought it would when it started, and we'll always have the ziggy-zakky.

"American Chopper" is a much better "man show".
American Chopper is my favorite cable TV show and I am a girl. I tell everyone to watch it. My mom is a big fan. She calls Paul Sr., "That old man" and Paul Jr.,"that young good looking one." We even like the disorganized Mikey, and don't think Vinny gets enough credit for his work.
Why would anyone choose a fart show over a custom made chopper show is beyond me, but as I said, I am a girl and I don't get the glory of the fart anyway. It is something to be avoided like skunk.

RE: Major Critique of Man Show
I think the girls on trampolines should be at the beginning of the show.
And last longer.
To: discostu
It's funny that half the discussions on this board that discuss gender roles are filled with people complaining about the feminization of the American male, rebelling against that is one of the basic ideas of The Man Show, and yet the same people complaining about feminization complain about The Man Show.THe power of the metrosexual...

Who said it's an either-or. I like both, they're not on opposite each other (well maybe one of the rebroadcasts conflict, but they're both on plenty). I get tired of the yelling on American Chopper, but other than that it's a great show. I never get tired of fart jokes.

You forgot a few of the classroom boys who might like this dubya. :-p We were watching this show either last night or the night before and it was an episode where they picked a new juggy and it was so funny. One of them never did get Jimmy's last name right. She kept saying "Camel."

There are many women show that shows women bitching and trashing men. The men show should focus more on trashing women?

Last night (for those who are not fans) was the first segment filmed with the new hosts, and frankly I thought it was a disaster. Kimmel and Carrola were self-aware "macho" guys whose principal appeal was that they knew the whole thing (or at least most of it) was a put-on. The new guys strike me as slobs who take it seriously.
That may be a bit harsh; I'll let them have a couple more tries before relegating the show to the shark tank. But I wasn't real impressed.
The difference was that the first four years' approach contained a strong element of men making fun of their own less-than-genteel habits. The joke was on us, we were making it, and we were laughing at ourselves, and many woman viewers laughed as well because it was accurate. The coarseness of the humor was an essential element in the humor itself. With the new guys I got the impression that the coarseness was all there was, and guys, it ain't enough.
But how those two pathetic morons they brought up as contestants thought that "Arnold Swartzanegar" was the celebrity ass-crack I cannot imagine. I picked up Lou Ferrigno right away. It's an entirely different shape.

I think the girls on trampolines should be at the beginning of the show.I agree... even better would be a rerun special of only the juggys on the trampolines... it would be mesmerizing (of course you would have to arrange a girls night out for all the wives).
