You seem to be preaching to the choir a bit here.
I don't believe Schwartzenegger is evil, if that's what you're asking.

I know what evil is.

You called me your enemy for asking you the first question, then say you don't know what the question is, then don't answer it, and now avoid a second question.

Please reread the posts.
The 'enemy' referred to was Davis, as opposed to ARNOLD, not you, friend.

The rabid vocal opponents of Arnold insist upon a template which is dead on arrival in California.

Whether they demand credentials as a true conservative, or shout about abortion, homosexuals, or gun control, they are on the wrong page.

I haven't seen a purer conservative since Barry Goldwater in 1964, and he was as unelectable at that time as Buddy Hackett or Mr. Ed.

The only concession "true conservatives" in this recall election make to the reality of their untenability is to shout louder.

The band on Titanic, the song "Nearer My God To Thee", dropping from number one, slipping beneath the waves.

So he brought Buffet on not as an advisor but as a trick?

He has no intention of listening to Buffets socialism? Just wants to secure the left/center vote?

Maybe your trying to hard to like Arnold?

Let him fight Cruz.

Just support Tom and if all goes wrong you can vote Arnold in the end.

"Don't you think if Mel Gibson were running, he'd be just as popular?"

Thanks for confirming my suspicion that most people are anaesthetized by TV and movies such that they THINK the media is REALITY.

I like Mel Gibson's movies very much. I know he is a religious man who demonstrates his faith. I know that he is an outstanding family man. However, I did not learn any of that by watching Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome or Lethal Weapon 3.

I enjoyed Arnold in True Lies and all the Terminator movies. However, I did not learn that he is PRO ABORTION, Anti-second amendment, pro-homosexuality perversion or in favor or BIGGER and BIGGER government by going to the movies.

>>>Thanks for confirming my suspicion that most people ...think the media is reality<<<

It sure sounded like that's what I meant, huh!
Golly, let me be clearer.
What first attracted me to Schwarwenegger was his history. That got my attention ... the qualities I perceived.
Believe me, the more we're hearing about his suspected plans, the less shiny his star is looking.

You're so right ... star status grabs the attention but substance SHOULD carry the day.
I'm saddened that McClintock isn't flashier, because this electorate doesn't seem to notice (yet) what incredible substance he has.

Hope this icon doesn't irk you, but if McClintock is to be the Seabiscuit of this race, there'd better be enough 'Charles Howards' out there to promote him.
Did you hear Rush yesterday, longing to see more passion in the race?

Too bad for Tom, but the name Tom McClintock barely registers any name recognition with most of the voters in Ca.

It's Tom McWho?

Regarding Arnold's after school initiative - He put his money where his mouth is, and Arnold put in the proviso that his "After-School Program" will only kick in when the state has money to pay for it. California doesn't have the money, so the program hasn't kicked in.

Gee, I guess Arnold IS smarter than I thought.

Tom recived more votes for controller than Simon got for Govenor.

Support Tom, if it looks like Cruz might win at the end switch to Arnold.

It won't hurt Arnold (he has the Middle/Left locked up) and if the middle/left split Cruz/Arnold right Tom can win.

Do you get the impression that folks here don't WANT
McClintock to win? Why do you think that is?

I am hoping that they are just scared Cruz might win, which is a scary thought. I just hope the message gets out:

Support Tom, if it looks like Cruz might win in the end, switch to Arnold.

It won't hurt Arnold (he has the Middle/Left locked up) and if Cruz/Arnold split the middle/left, Tom can WIN.

Cruz and Arnold could split 55% of the vote (Left and Middle/left) and Tom could still Win with 35% of the vote.

It would be better.

But If we can get behind Tom and ignore Arnold, we can ignore Simon.

The problem is, what is Schwarzenegger's plan to deal with the deficit? Heck, what is Bustamante's plan? Or anyone's? McClintock is at least offering somewhat of a plan, anyhow.

I keep hearing how Schwarzenegger should not be attacked as a liberal, because he has not yet announce his positions. Perhaps, but clearly, neither should he be supported before announcing same.

Clearly. Getting hooked up to Arnold before he makes a commmitment, is the formula for a one night stand, which for many is a cause for regret. What's the rush to get in bed with him?

Compared to Davis, Schwarzenegger is a member of the vast right wing conspiracy, IMHO.

Compared on what basis? I'd like to think there's a bit of difference but I sure don't see it as clearly as you seem to.

If the difference is so great between them, please provide some examples of issues on which they differ significantly. If you can't, I'd say your Humble Opinion is just wishful thinking.

Why would he drop out? Makes no sense unless the rats have pictures of him doing something with a goat.
