You know, "The Communist Manifesto" (Karl MARX?) is one of those books I've been meaning to actually read, but as of yet have not gotten around to it.

I've been like a lot of folks are towards the Bible; always quoting stuff reputedly contained therein without actually reading the entire document for myself.

Well, I read the Bible years ago from Genesis to Revalation, and found a lot of stuff I never knew about, failed to find some things I was pretty certain were supposed to be in there, and opened up some very powerful and life-changing forces within my psyche and Spirit that I never knew had even existed previously.

Although I don't expect anything like that from the "Manifesto", I suppose that if I'm going to have any intellectual credibility as a Polemic (I just looked that up in the Dictionary, BTW, and 'Yazoo!!!'; I ARE one!) I'd better get my Marx together, eh?

I'll have to check, but I have long been under the impression that most if not all of this "recipe for World domination" comes right from the pen of old Karl himself.

The essence is, to my understanding, to acquire control of the target Civilization's key institutions (Schools, media, Labor Unions, political Parties etc.) via insiduous and patient infiltrtation of leadership positions within these institutions followed by selective discrimination in staffing (any Conservative Republican Social Workers out there? How many Public Schrool Administrators voted for GWB?
I rest my case...).

Something this list leaves off but I'm confident is in there someplace, is the domination and manipulation of language. We see the DNC doing this all the time, as so aptly demonstrated by Herr Klinton of the previous Syndicate... err... "Administration".

How do you define "Is", anyway?

One thing I learned in College (Majored in Human Services, no less) was that a Culture is defined largely by it's common language, almost as much as by it's dominant Religion.

"Words mean things", as Rush so often reminds us, and by subtly altering the definition of words and phrases, virtues can be transformed into vices, and vice versa.

The foundational reticulum of a Society - it's commonly shared moral and ethical standards - can thus be broken down quite effectively.

As they pretty much have been.

Examples include "Pro Choice"; all very positive and uplifting, no?

Or calling the "Tower of Babel" strategy whereby the cultural commonality of language and the unity it engenders is broken up, thereby causing the integrity and identity of the civilization that has developed around it to be fragmented and disarticulated; "Diversity".

How many languages are the California Re-Call Election Ballots going to be printed in?

And how long does a Hospital have to find an Interpreter for any customer who comes in the door (irregardless of whether they have any means or intention of paying for services) speaking any language on Earth before they get sued for millions of dollars?

I think it's about 20 minutes, but you could check on that.

Aren't we all so "Special" now that we are "Diverse" and "Tolerant"?

Oh yes; the other "key institution" that the posted list seems to leave off is the Judicial and Legal system.

Which Political Party is willing to stalemate American Government via a Constitutionally questionable fillibuster during a time of War in order to prevent any Judicial Nominee they do not have absolute control over ("Radical right Wing Extremists!") from being appointed to the Federal Bench?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isnt' it the same Party that is the benificiary of significant financial support from the American Bar and Trial Lawyers Associations?

Oh yes; didn't they also enjoy significant financial gain from a bunch of Bhuddist "Monks" a while back, whose multiple $10,000 maximum individual contribution checks were all covered by (indirectly of course) the PLA?

And under whose Syndi...(oops; sorry!};>) "Administration" was the penetration of Security at Los Alamos "total" and missle guidance technology provided to the very same PLA who is repudedly now using that same technology to target both Taiwan and the Continental US?

I'm starting to see a certain pattern developing here; do you?

Of course I'm not too thrilled by "Republican" largesse to the PRC either; "Most Favored Nation" trading status is a prize that I'm sure did not come cheaply to the Chicoms, and I could not begin to prove that all of the checks over the years were made out exclusively to the DNC or it's Candidates.

Forfiture or suspension of that coveted status was not even mentioned officially, (at least not publicly) as I recall, during that episode with the P-3-something airplane they hijacked and held for a number of days (or was it weeks?); so China could probably nuke us and still have uninterrupted, permanent MFNTS with the American survivors... if they can find any.

I seriously wonder if many (if any) of the suit pockets in Washington don't have a little red fortune cookie or two in 'em at this point.

Wasn't it Jimmuh Cahter who essentially gave the Panama Canal away to the Chicoms? How clever of him if he did.
It seems that we were told that our big, modern Aircraft Carriers would not fit through it any more, so it was no longer strategically needed.

Do we have any Admirals out there who could speak to that argument?

Isn't there a US Naval Base in California that was nearly deeded over to the PRC under Klintoon?

Can anyone check and see how many of our Strategic Oil Reserves the Chinese now own?
I, for one, would be interested to know.

And how are they coming on that "SQVALL" supersonic hypercavitating torpedo that's supposed to be able to take out an entire US Carrier Battle Group in the course of an afternoon? We have not heard much about that lately, but the last I knew they were working hard on it.

Gee; what's going to happen to all of our McDonalds and Wal-Marts over in China after the Chicom missile batteries open up on Taiwan?
Do you suppose they'll all be nationalized after the mask comes off of the Dragon?

Stay tuned!

It's being done by the same people, who are just calling themselves different names now, like: progressive, liberal, democratic socialist, democrat, etc.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

The original source material for #22 and #23 above can be found in ART OR ANARCHY, by Huntington Hartford, Doubleday, 1964. This is an amusing rant against abstract expressionism. The author quotes at length from a letter to Wheeler Williams, former president of the National Sculpture Society. The writer was said to be the secretary of a Communist cell who shared his/her notes from some very interesting meetings:

"Inspirational art must be discredited . . . insane, ugly, revolting art must be substituted.

"Art is the highest expression of national spirit and ideals; destroy art---you break down morals, speed internal disintegration, destroy faith in (your) own culture."

In 1932, Stalin directed the Communist Party apparatus in the U.S. to "cultivate the ugly, futuristic and aberrant in art, literature, the drama and music. Every sick-brained fanatic must be used, every talented artist must be discouraged. Control all juries of selection, but by a bare majority. Never shut out the regulars entirely. Give the prizes to the worst, most hideous and worthless paintings or sculpture in the show. Keep rational art out of all public exhibitions, allow only empty or distorted art to be shown in museums, dealers' exhibits. Eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.

"It is astonishing what we have been able to get away with. Even our most experienced experts directing operations can scarcely believe it. No good citizen wants to be the first to step up and protest! It is almost a shame to take advantage of these silly, cowardly people."

The author goes on for a few more paragraphs but you get the picture.

Numbers 40 and 41 are surely in place today – #41 is one of Hillary’s favorite approaches. The impeached rapist was whole heartedly favor of # 45.

The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism,
but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation
without ever knowing how it happened----

tdadams,

I have shared my own experiences with communism with Cleon Skousen and with Professor Fred Schwartz "You can Always trust a Communist....to be a Communist" I know what they say runs counter to your interpretation of polemic, but is hard cold accurate. Communists tend to repeat, recycle the same old stuff. I have dealt with communists who bluntly tell me the same things Skousan mentions.

I see the need for repetitious exposure of their goals so long as they repeat their techniques.

People who live these experiences tend not to engage in polemics, which is another valuable tool in the lexicon. Communists draw intellectuals into polemic on nuances of communism and socialism, blinding the listeners to the simple truths of their fraud by the intellectual wealth of their word tools.

In short, Cleon Skousen knew the truth in his words and those who have dealt long time with communist thought back his points without reservation.

And echoing what Uncle Jacque says, communists (and one may include all of that stripe) use words differently than us. Words to us have meaning and we convey those meanings in predictible fashion and are understood accordingly.

But communists (liberals, democrats, socialists, baathists) use words as tools. They issue words as weapons to achieve an effect. (Not an understanding of a thought conveyed) So, they have no interest or concern as to how the recipient understood the words, but only upon the effect that lanced missle creates. They call us a bigot, not because they think we are bigots, but because of the reaction we will have. The pattern is consistant to the point of boredom.

Communists and allies use the same tired arguments over and over for one good reason. It works. Only when it quits working, will they try something else.

At one point in my life, I laughed off their clumsy techniques as too goofy to worry me. No longer, the more I watch that inevitable march of ants, the more steeled I am against this awesome evil force.

I know better than to fall into the trap of debating them. It is a waste of perfectly good words.

Well, thanks for all that, but it's a bit irrelevant to what I was saying. My only complaint was that this (the 1963 Congressional Record about the Communist Agenda) seems to get posted here as often as I've seen emails about Bill Gates and Disney World offering me a $5000 vacation if I forward an email to 20 people. It gets a little old.
