Doesn't sound good at all.
The baby's blood gases are in the 100's..... which is not good. She was told that that means he's not processing the carbons out of his system. Now what does that mean? I have no idea.
His little lungs don't look good. They have started him on 2 antibiotics...... pneumonia?.... not sure ;(
They are doing a CRP test for the protein levels.
This takes the 24, 48 & 72 hour period like the CBS does. His CBC level is at 1, with 3 being the worst.
Beth said he opened his eyes ever so slightly, but surely wasn't awake. He did not "come around" as she had hoped. And he just doesn't want to wake up :(
She is going to call again through the night. If there's any change, she will call me...... if not, then I'm going up at 9 in the morning and see what's going on.
