An old man of about 70 sat down beside of me when I waiting for my dope at the drug store, and he said, "Okay, tell me the story behind the cane."

I told him the whole story, and he replied, "I retired from medical practice, and I'll give you some advice: Anything that is remotely connected to your back, don't cut unless you can't do anything else."

It was too coincidental that this old doctor happened to be at the same place at the same time as me. I think God was sending me a message that I might be wanting to cut too quick.
