If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

So sorry about Storm. I understand perfectly the sadness the loss of a dear pet can bring. My furgirls are both getting mighty geriatric, and I'm not looking forward to their demise.
God bless you, M0sby, for your affection for and care of God's four-legged angel. I know heaven is full of our beloved little fur cherubs frolicking about waiting for us.

So sorry to hear about Storm. I have had dog/dogs all of my life, and I know exactly how you're feeling today. It's awful when a pet you have had for years, loved so much, and showed you love and trust and fun, has to go to heaven.
We love them so much, it's very hard to let go. God Bless you. People who don't have dogs or cats just don't understand how much they can mean to a person. But a lot of us can sympathize with you. I have a springer spaniel who is now 13 yrs. old. I dread the day when she goes.

Just read your post about Storm...so sorry to hear it. Know what you are going through - we had to put our 15yr. old Scottie to sleep on Jan. 11th. It was very difficult, but she had reached the point where letting her linger would have been cruel. She was a good, loyal, pet, friend, and "dawgter" - a loving member of our family. I can tell Storm was an important part of your family too. God bless.

I've had doggies I've had to send to heaven; and NOBODY can tell me it doesn't hurt. But what was worse, was coming home and finding one of my dogs dead; I guess she had a stroke or something. And I always feel guilty when something like that happens.
BTW, our dear social worker has been moved to hospice; she was no longer able to be managed at home.
Please pray for a peaceful transition.
Thank you and God Bless.

I lost my best friend Orion a few years ago. She was a beautiful keeshond. It took me two years to get over it. I know how you feel.
Here is a poem that helped me a bit. I hope it helps you too.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. < There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
Author unknown...
My prayers for you for God to come quickly, and steal your pain away.
PS it is me no more gore anymore
