"obey-the-commander-in-chief conservatives"
For example, re: Kerry: "He is pretty liberal, but has a military background". How freaking shallow of this guy. Does he not know the charade Kerry pulled when he tossed someone else's Vietnam medals on the Senate steps, and his anti_Vietnam war role?
What!? Vermont has been hemoraghing (sp?) jobs since Dean took office. His tax policies have made Vermont one of the least attractive places for businesses to relocate, and the ones that stayed are leaving in droves.
They are drawing conservative on his connection to the Fellowship.

..a secretive fundamentalist Christian group known as the Fellowship or the Foundation... The group, the AP reported, is best known for holding the annual National Prayer Breakfast at the White House, which offers scores of national and international heavy hitters the opportunity to praise God in close proximity to the President. In the article, the congressmen boarding at the house denied owing any allegiance to the group, and several professed ignorance of even the most basic facts about the organization. Little else was reported about the group's history, motives or backers.... They say there are six guys at the C Street house, there were eight when I was there. They say there is one for members of Parliament in England, and I think there are similar ones in other capitals. The house is constantly rotating. Steve Largent used to live there. John Elias Baldacci, a conservative Democrat who is now the governor of Maine. As for the Bush connection, there is Ashcroft.
And you're not, Mr. Andrews? "Progressives" my behind! Deception of this administration? Why don't you open up and reveal the funding of "Win Without War"? And describe, please, exactly what it is you plan on "winning" while you're at it.
What do you mean "losing the base" we have both kinds of support here, Liberal and Progressive.
