BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) -- The United States and Colombia launched exploratory talks Friday aimed at establishing a free trade agreement between the two countries.

Colombian trade and tourism minister Jorge Humberto Botero said that if formal free trade negotiations are launched by the beginning of 2004, the talks could be finalized by late 2005 with a free-trade deal taking effect by 2006.

But, in general, the protective system of our day is conservative, while the free trade system is destructive. It breaks up old nationalities and pushes the antagonism of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie to the extreme point. In a word, the free trade system hastens the social revolution. Willie doesn't realize that by quoting Marx as a figure of authority, he gives that dimwit legitimacy and thereby promotes Marxism.

Willie the Marxist thinks people are too stupid to decide for themselves with whom to trade. That's why Willie wants Big Brother to run our lives and manage our trade.

I love it when I get under your skin.
You Canadians are always willing to step forward and make complete arses out of yourselves with your transparent spin. (As if we're gonna adopt the economic model that Canada has.)
It's a hoot! Keep up the good work!
