The syndicated radio host, 52, will appear weekly on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown starting on Sept. 7.

SI: What's the more powerful acronym: EIB [Excellence In Broadcasting] or NFL?

Limbaugh: Oh, EIB. It changes people's lives.

SI: What NFL player has, like you, "talent on loan from God"?

Interesting read. I am looking forward to Rush's interuptions.

I don't listen to the guy anymore, (because on my 61st birthday I gave up politics because I don't have enough time left for anything political to hurt me)but I am quite tickled that he's finally gotten into sports.

He's the embodiment of the American dream...don't finish college but do what you like and do your best; rewards will follow.

His success with ties, books, newsletters, etc. are great and his passion for sports will make him notable in this venture. What a wit, what a showman, what a success! Love it. ( also appreciate that he can piss off the folks I think deserve it daily.)

I will not hold that against you, but I realy love your QB. Along with TB's and Miami's QB. Unfortunately I am stuck with hoping that Culpepper improves. However I am completely satisfied with Mike Tice.

GO VIKES!

Fun, except for the part about the Fantasy of a Governor Schwartzenegger. Obviously Rush does not have his "finger on the pulse" here in California.

This is the pic they used in their story on Rush. They used a very unflatering pic as usual.

Actually Rush stated that Arnie probably will win, thats why he is doing his best to let everyone know that Arnie is a big lib.

Then why did he say that it was a fantasy?

Then why did he say it was a fantasy?

Good point, In my haste to post the story I read it quickly and that quote went right over my head.

However I my be wrong, but I'm sure I heard him say on his show yesterday that it was unfortunate but that he has a good chance of Arnie winning.

I will stand corrected if wrong.

There's no question. It isn't even close. The 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers.

I think the '85 Bears would have something to say about this.

"The plan is for me to be on set but in a separate area".
Sigh, never got to watch the show with him on it. He sure loves the game.

"SI: So how does Governor Schwarezengger sound?
Limbaugh: It's always a fantasy. It's never going to happen. "
