In a decision released today, a unanimous, three-judge panel of the court found that legislation enacted in 2000 to bar such suits applied to the action filed amidst great fanfare by former Mayor Dennis Archer and County Prosecutor John O'Hair in 1999. Time to sue the city and the prosecutor's office for several hundred million dollars for filing a frivalous suit. These kinds of suits will keep being filed until the losers actually have to pay for wasting tax dollars and the money of innocent manufacturers and dealers.
