Love your motto on your personal page!! What happens in California DOES affect everyone, in the national elections, in the public's perception of Republicans in general. I fervently want President Bush to win re-election in 2004, think how much less work it would be for him with Arnold in the governor's office than either Simon (that the press has already diminished from the last election) or McClintock, who has shepherded the faithful minority through some pretty disastrous elections. I get the feeling some conservatives actually fear success for some reason. . .it must threaten their whimsical concept of being the noble underdog.

I do respect principled goals, more than anything.
I just don't agree with the goals of 'the noble underdog.'
