Leftists put up fake World Trade Organization (WTO) web site "Aims for Regime Change in U.S. With Playing Card Deck"
Ok this may be old news but it new to me
I was doing a web search for World Trade Organization and the number one hit gave me the site http://www.gatt.org/ ...
If you go to the site it looks official and states it is the World Trade Organization site
But this you start looking at whats there "TRO Aims for Regime Change in U.S. With Playing Card Deck" or "Disbanding schedule announced" you will find it is a leftists propaganda site thats a direct copy of the World Trade Organization site
Compare the fake site www.gatt.org
with
The real WTO site www.wto.org
Seems they're getting sloppy about their security, though. I mean, *I* wouldn't run a box with unpatched Red Hat Linux Apache (v2.0.40) with all *this* showing to the world:
Interesting ports on ppp-64-115-210-58.broadviewnet.net (64.115.210.58): Port State Service 22/tcp open ssh 25/tcp open smtp 53/tcp open domain 80/tcp open http 110/tcp open pop-3 443/tcp open https 3306/tcp open mysql Remote operating system guess: Linux Kernel 2.4.0 - 2.5.20 Uptime 9.876 days (since Thu Jul 24 17:26:11 2003)
Gosh, there must be at least a dozen ways into that box without even trying. Gee whiz...I sure hope they're staying on top of security and all that.
They have no disclaimer, they dont say there a parody, they present themselves as the official WTO website and have done a complete copy of official WTO website ,other then change the text, they even have flooded the search engines out there to be the first hit
If I were to copy let say the DNC website, alter the text ( say put a few extra words in there mouth that could cost them votes), then flooded the search engines out there and present it as the official DNC website just to mess with them and interfering with their business. I would expect to get sued

That's RTMark for ya. This isn't the first time they've pulled this sort of thing.

That's because you'd be spoofing a site that gives half a damn. I don't think the WTO falls under that category.
