I hadn't seen this post until you bumped it on the "A soldier died today thread." What a wonderful young man. I am sorry for his families loss. I am saying prayers for Kim and the rest of his family.

Many more valiant sons will join him in paradise this day as their enemeies join their brethren in hell. May God watch over our troops.

Hello CPT Byers,
It has been a long time and I think of you often, I have just returned from Kuwait last December. I am currently at Fort Gordon attending ANCOC and graduate 11 MAR 08. I will be driving out to Laurens to visit you in a bit. I still think of you alot and have had a rough 4 and a half years being down and depressed. I am coming out of it and will be at Ft Huachuca for the next few years, as you know that is where my family is and where I grew up. I am thinking of getting the new Boflex they have come out with when I get there. I think of you everytime I see a commercial for it. Well it is about a 2 hour drive and I need to get ready see you soon Sir. PS As you see by the screen name I have been promoted.
