I love Bork. I can't look at one of those monsters who Borked him -- Leahy, Kennedy, Spectre -- without thinking what shame they've earned.
But as a Christian I can't find any joy in this. Water never yet did anything spiritual for anyone; only faith in the Lord Jesus Christ does (John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8-10, etc. ad inf.). The man gets up and praises the ritual -- no sign of the grace of God there.
I will pray for his conversion and salvation.
Dan

I will pray for his conversion and salvation. Dan, you are a class act. That's why when you even get into heated arguments opposed to the Catholic Church, I don't hold a grudge. You're sincere in your adherence to God, and I only wish more people could say the same.

It's a physical thing...as humans, God knows we need physical things and ritals and signs. They ARE significant....kind of like a wedding ceremony done by a pastor or preacher.
It's a reminder to us that the Blood of the Lamb WASHED us from our sins....we celebrate the shedding of the Blood of the Lamb...do you??
