Another great Freeper time line/truth detector post.

Some of the Dem Senators are saying they were swayed by the "lies" in the SOTU speech and wouldn't have voted to give Bush the power to go to war with Iraq if they had known the truth. Funny thing is though. They voted in October and the speech wasn't until January. Of course, they babble this nonsense to the reporters from ABC,CBS,CNN,etc. and all the reporter does is nod his head.

Like the movie "Fight Club", the 1st Rule of Leftist Reporter Club, is, don't ever talk about it.
Second rule is: don't ever question an obvious RAT lie.
Third rule is: always make a conservative look like a liar, even if you have to lie to do it.

Simple job they have when you think about, the only bad part is having to swallow all the RAT DNA all the time.

Thanks. Curt Weldon was hot last night on CSPAN when he was saying this on the floor. He also said he would keep repeating it while the Dems were doing this. We need more Republicans to do it and do it on the news shows. He also pointed out how many were killed in the Kosovo bombings (more than are claimed in the bombing of Iraq) and how all the genocidal claims Clinton made turned out to be false. When the transcript comes out I'm going to post it on another thread.

When the Niger claim first arose, the CIA sent a retired diplomat to Africa to investigate in February 2002. The diplomat, Joseph Wilson, reported finding no credible evidence that Iraq was seeking uranium from Niger.

Item: The selection of Wilson (a Democrat hack and anti-Iraq war shill) may have resulted from his wife's (Valerie Plame) lobbying--she being a CIA analyst.

Item: Wilson did not say he found no evidence Iraq was seeking uranium from Niger. He said he found no evidence of a transaction, a wholly different matter.

Item: Wilson made no mention of the 2003 SOTUS uranium reference in his Lehrer interview or Nation op-ed in February 2003. Wilson waited until July 6--the day before Bush left for Africa--to spew his NYT hit piece.
