Liberal In Words And Deeds
Washington Dispatch ^ | July 16, 2003 | Bob Parks

Even though liberals call conservatives “hate-mongers”, “evil”, “racists”, “homophobes”, and the most widely used “mean-spirited”, it’s the libs themselves that are capable of the most hateful of speech and racist deeds. It must be really nice to have media friends who believe as you do and can keep these words and ideas from the populace at large.

We Told You So . . .
Conservatives have been labeled as “anti-children” because of their lack of confidence (to put it mildly) in the public education system and teacher’s unions. Ironically, blacks overwhelmingly want vouchers in every poll taken in the last decade plus, but it’s these same parents who are continually suckered by black politicians campaigning on “improving” education who once elected say “no” to those same parents seeking a way out for their kids.

Incidentally, NO black Democrat on Capitol Hill sends their own kids to a public school anywhere in the United States. But they won’t let their constituents’ kids off the public school plantation.

In 1998 President Bill Clinton, despite being the “first black president” (see the next section), vetoed the opportunity for poor black kids in Washington, D.C. to get vouchers and escape inferior public schools. And now even though the District spends over $15,000 per student, the latest National Assessment of Education Progress reports that D.C. kids scored the worst in the country.

“A human tragedy that approximately 40% of adults in our city read only at a third grade level… and can't complete a job application or advance beyond an entry-level position." - D.C. Mayor Anthony Williams

Notwithstanding findings, the liberal group “People for the American Way” is claiming that the voucher experiment is sponsored by "ultra-conservative elements" that seek to atomize public education.

So who’s really for segregation?

Black & Right
I had an grouchy woman email me several times saying that I was trying to make a name for myself by essentially acting like an Uncle Tom (incidentally, for those ignorant liberals who like using that name as an epithet, Uncle Tom in “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” led slaves to the Underground Railroad. If I can one day lead blacks to freedom from the Democrats, so be it…).

Liberals call conservative blacks “Toms” and wannabe whites, but only a real black hater would name Bill Clinton “the first black president” and mean it. I’m personally embarrassed by stupid blacks that blindly bestow that title to one of the most flawed, immoral politicians in recent memory.

"Years ago, in the middle of the Whitewater investigation, one heard the first murmurs: white skin notwithstanding, this is our first black president. Blacker than any actual person who could ever be elected in our children's lifetime." - Nobel Prize winning author Toni Morrison

Ever see him dance, Toni?

Clinton was also inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame as it’s first non-black inductee and, of course, all the surrounding blacks thanked Clinton for all he did for blacks.

Like what? Okay, he plays the sax. Is that a black trait, Toni? He also lies, a lot. Is that a black trait, Toni? He cheats on his wife and messes around with reckless abandon. Is that a black trait, Toni? He pits groups against each other using race for his own political advantage. Is that a black trait, Toni?

Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, lawyer Vernon Jordan, Congresspersons Maxine Waters, Charles Rangel, John Lewis, Jesse Jackson Jr., Harold Ford, Cynthia McKinney, Sheila Jackson-Lee, John Conyers, authors Maya Angelou and Toni Morrison, Marian Wright-Edelman of the Children's Defense Fund, Labor Secretary Alexis Herman, San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, New York State Comptroller Carl McCall, NAACP President Kweisi Mfume, and former Energy Secretary Hazel O'Leary gave unwavering support to our first black president during all of his trials and tribulations.

None have ever been invited to spend the night in the Clinton White House.

‘Til Death Do Us Part
Did you notice when Senator Strom Thurmond passed away, the media couldn’t wait to respectfully remind us of another Republican with ties to segregation? However they left out two important tidbits:

1. Strom Thurmond was a segregationist while he was a Democrat (Dixiecrat),

2. Strom Thurmond was the first United States senator to hire black staff members, and did so while a Republican.

Being a liberal means living in a world of contradictions and denial. Another such contradiction is their anointing themselves as compassionate people and conservatives as those who want to literally kill the children, elderly, and everyone in between. These are some of the most vicious people on the planet. And seeing how they work with a media that acquiesces, they feel comfortable in sharing some of this hate in public with no fear of being sent to sensitivity school or being told to apologize.

“Not me, I think he ought to be worried about what's going on in the Good Lord's mind, because if there is retributive justice, he'll get AIDS from a transfusion or one of his grandchildren will get it.” - NPR Reporter Nina Totenberg on Republican Senator Jesse Helms

“You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, that's how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person.” - Syndicated Columnist/Pacifica Radio Talk Show Host Julianne Malveaux on Justice Clarence Thomas

“I’m thinking to myself, if we were in other countries, we would all right now, all of us together, all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death! Wait! Shut up! Shut up! No shut up! I’m not finished. We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families!" - Actor Alec Baldwin on the Conan O’Brien Show

I’d like to see how the media deals with senator and former Klansman Robert Byrd. Get ready for lectures on how he “evolved” even though he used the phrase “white niggers” on Fox News Sunday less than a couple of years ago.

I won’t wish death upon anyone.

I’ll leave that to Democrats.

Bob Parks is a former Republican congressional candidate (California 24th District), Navy veteran, dad, graphic designer, producer/composer, and New England Patriots fan. You can email him at feedback@washingtondispatch.com.

Bob can be heard Saturdays and Sundays at 8pm Eastern, 5pm Pacific on the Los Angeles-based June Cain Miller radio talk show (KRLA 870am), or live online at http://www.krla870.com/.

Bob also happens to be African American. I think he is a deep thinker and great American.

I can read that Malveaux quote a million times and still be shocked by it. What a disgusting human being she is.

Great article. I still can't understand how Harold Ford could stay in the Democrat party. Such a smart, articulate man and yet such a waste of talent enslaved on the liberal plantation.

I am glad to see more Black people coming off of the rat plantation. Some of the more interesting political conversations that I have had were with a Black Objectivist from the South Side of Chi Town in the middle 60's, Ayn Rand leaves me cold, but the idea of a nonthinking Black Rat block is untrue.

Can't fault The Pervert for that. They wouldn't be invited to the Temple Owl White House either.

In one swift right hook, Bob Parks has nailed every single hyprocrisy of the "Progressive" Left. Especially the sick joke of x42 being anointed the "first Black President" by author Toni Morrison. What a man!
