...but brain tumors are funny things. They make you see things that are not there as one of the common symptoms.

2 months before my mother died of a brain tumor, she said to me - out of the blue- "I think Margaret died". Margaret was her sister, who had been in declining health for a few years. She had no way of knowing that, indeed, Margaret had died a week or so before. We did not tell her, for fear of upsetting her. She just knew. She saw her.

One either believes in this type of thing, or they don't. I'm a believer.

My mom died about 18 years ago after a long bout with cancer.

I was on my way to catch a plane to go see her for the last time, and was listening to some Eric Clapton, when I had an uncontrollable urge to stop and had a really empty, sad feeling which i cannot begin to describe. When I got to the airport I called home and discovered she had died just about the time I had stopped...

It is possible that the kid had hallucinations due to a brain tumour, but the 3 cameras that took the photos weren't hallucinating. However, that evidence is also pretty weak, possibly a problem with the development or chemicals. Also, there's nothing in the bible that says people will have wings in heaven, that is a description belonging to angels. The apostle Paul said that some people have entertained angels, unaware of that fact that they were not human beings. That would mean they looked just like everyone else if they wanted to appear to men. Sodom and Gomorrha were visited by angels to their destruction, but Abraham and Lot recognized them as heavenly visitors.

I once heard of an incident at a preschool where one of the children had wandered outside the building which was located near a busy road. A man opened the door and brought the child back to the woman attendant, then stepped back outside. The attendant went to the door to thank him and there was nobody there, neither did the man have enough time to walk away from the location and out of view.

"That looks exactly like a water spot on the camera lens."

Actually, it looks like an internal lens reflection to me. I used to be a pro photographer, and I've seen those spots before when I misplaced lighting.

What it is not is an angel.

"“…no photo’s….no angels”

So everything that you can’t see, smell, feel, hear or taste doesn’t exist either?"

Not exactly. I can't see planets around distant stars. Nobody can. But, I can understand gravitations perturbations that indicate their existence. Reason, combined with evidence, leads to belief for me. Angels? Not on your life.

Actually, events like tumors can strengthen innate abilities we normally do not have.

What about kids who don't have tumors and see angels? Of course, they are psychos, too in your world.

I am not saying there aren't fakes etc., but to assume that there is nothing unusual that ever happens in the world is just plain arrogant and well, close-minded.

Three different cameras with different types of film caught the shapes at different spots. That IS unusual, whether you like it or not.

Perhaps something explainable caused the cameras to malfunction in some manner. But perhaps not.

she said that 2:42 was the time they called time of death.

Wow! Great story, and my condolences.

I have a guardian angel, too. He appears in the form of a large blurry thumb.

Yours is tactful - mine usually shows up in the form of a lens cap...

Being open to it is the problem, I agree.

I saw the pictures. Just because you don't see something with wings does not mean there isn't something there. Our images of angels may not be how they appear in spiritual form.

Anyway, there is one pic in there that I am not very confident about. The rest? Who knows...possibly angels, possibly not.

But there do appear to be orbs in one of the pictures, which is pretty significant.

Ah...you are an atheist.

Well, that explains it.

Note: Ignore MineralMan. He is atheist.

You forgot one factor in your belief equation.

Faith

It takes just as much of it if not more to not believe than to believe.

If you don't believe in Santa Claus, I urge you to, no kidding, speak with a mother of a preschooler a few days before Christmas.

That's a good question, and a reason why adult experiences should be treated with a reasonable degree of skepticism. After all, Lucifer can disguise himself as an angel of light.

You are correct about Lucifer being able to disguise himself as an angel of light. In Moody's book on Near Death Experences "Life after Life" there was only this loving accepting light with no refernce to any judgement.

In Rawlings' book "Beyond Death's Door" however, there are several stories of "Decending into "Hell"...

I just think that there is an "age of innocence", and the stories from the young children are the best we can get in terms of what's really going on, without any possiblity of undue influence by other forces.

Some people who have NDE's have seen demons.

I just can't take anyone seriously when they say there is nothing unexplained that happens in this world. Records are full of events, some of which truly are unexplainable.

Unfortunately, for those who believe science currently understands everything...there is nothing else for it to explain when we know more in the future...there is nothing that will get their thick heads to even have an open mind until their house is haunted or something like that.

..and cremated...and cremated...and cremated for ever...

Sorry couldn't resist..
