>I?Jesus said in the last days people will call good evil and evil good

Only in you overactive imagination did Jesus ever say this. Christians who do not know their religon should not be preaching it.

Looks like this person never actually saw the movie American Beauty. The gay "partners" were a mistake - they were not actually gay

Ummmm...I seen the film a few times....they weren't????? I thought they were. How do you know they weren't?

USA Today noted, "Suddenly, without much fanfare or backlash, mainstream entertainment has fallen head over heels for gays and lesbians, as well as the occasional transgender or bisexual counterpart, with an embrace that goes beyond the passing flirtations of the past."

Hollywood gives em what they want. If it didn't sell so much they wouldn't push it so much.

Will the Supreme Court next endorse pedophilia, necrophilia, incest, and bestiality?

They are already hinting at it.

No He didn't. Open your eyes if you don't see what the liberals are doing. Call something they like evil and you automatically a bigot.

I guess it is possible I am confused but as I remember it the Marine father thought his son and the neighbor were having sex when all they were doing is rolling a doobie (the son was after the daughter, not the father)

Later the Marine father goes over and tries to kiss the other father who then tells him he does not swing that way. Later the Marine murders the other father (most likely because he is tormented over his latent homosexuality).

WAIT A MINUTE, you guys are talking about the gay couple that had a very very small part in the movie. OK, they were presented in a positive light – but the Marine murderer seemed to kill in response to his latent homosexuality and that is far from a positive presentation of homosexuality.

Many perversions are already considered 'normal'. It will be no surprise when the rest do.

No He didn't.

Of course He did not. You obviously knew that.

So tell me, in your brand of Christianity, is it OK make up Jesus quotes as long as you are doing it for a "good" pupose?

Though I do not think it wise to cast my pearls before the swine, I thought He had said it. I was wrong. It was actually Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

I thought He said it.

Your ignorance has perverted the word of God before an audience of thousands. Why is your pervesion of the Word of God any less sinful than humans perverting the sex act.

Here is something Jesus actually did say:

John 8:7 - "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone..."

Go. From now on sin no more.

"I guess it is possible I am confused "

You were not mistaken.

The author of this piece was completely wrong and obviously does not know what he's talking about, at least in relation to the movie. The father and the teen were not homosexual, but the uptight Marine, who apparently was a latent homosexual, thought they were. This movie had some weird stuff that I'm sure the author would not agree with, but it most certainly was NOT a positive or approving depiction of homosexuality.

you should take that to heart and stop casting your empty stones.

Every person here at FR judges in everything post they make. Open your eyes and think. As far as millions seeing me... they also saw I can admit when I'm wrong, unlike jerk-offs like you that just sit and judge people.

thins is my finally post to you... so don't quote what you don't understand.

Well, I guess that begs the question: Is it better to quote that which one does not understand or is it better to just make up quotes?

You are a Christian or at least you claim to be a Christian. I would think you would feel some responsibility to accurately quote the Words of Jesus. If you are so uncaring about the actual words of Chirst how can anyone give any creditability to any Christian pronouncement you may make? You should at least stand back at let the knowledgeable Christians do the talking.
