A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

ANN COULTER, ANN COULTER, ANN COULTER!
by FreeTheHostages design by Billie
Whats the funniest tag line youve seen? The funniest youve thought of or is there someone elses tag line that you want to plagiarize and call your own for contest purposes?
Post your entries AS A TAG LINE in this thread today and Ill give, to the Funniest Tag Line, a great conservative gift!: a copy of Ann Coulters new book.
What I like about this contest is that the winner may have no idea that they entered!
Post your entry on this page by 10 p.m. EST, winner announced by midnight. No complaining that the judge is insane, easily bribed, and wholly lacking in judgment we all know that already.
Bribes are welcome. Comments on your opinion on which is funniest are welcome.
Dont be ridiculous! Everyone knows my judging is absurd. If you enter and dont win, it means absolutely nothing! Trust me, around here, as a Judge, I get
Some tag lines go with the post. Others work with any post, such as No trees were killed in sending this message, but billions of electrons were inconvenienced. Others just have delightful humor, such as the wish that Sharpton should be the Democratic presidential candidate: RUN AL, RUN!!!
It would be fair to say that whatever your tag line, its going to get points with me, the judge, for being funny and having a conservative bent to it.
In sum, were looking for funny here. Ive long been a fan of Chad Fairbanks use of tag lines. Hes currently sporting a somewhat mysterious one (There's no place like 192.0.0.1 There's no place like 192.0.0.1 There's no place like
), but his tag lines are often a hoot. Whose your favorite tag author?

Are you as surprised as I was? This has to be some kind of record. Never has Freezie said so little in so few words, and as such, we wanted to show our appreciation with this Award of ExcellenceBrevity. :) We also felt there was no more fitting a presenter than the Skinny One. ~ Billie

Thanks, Mixer!
1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

I saw your *excellent* college of good tag lines in that other thread. As you can see, I'm hosting a tag line contest in this thread. Please feel *free* to ping the people who were featured in your thread to this contest.

Oh, boy! It's gonna be a Fun Day at The Finest! The Hostess graphic is so fitting and funny, Billie.
We owe so much to the lot of you, providing this wonderful background
for our support of the military and enjoyment of The Finest Things of Life.
Before getting down to the nitty-gritty, just wanted to say

you said your use of taglines was "feeble at best" and then conjoined that statement with a zinger of a tag line! So I wrote "What do you mean?" as in "Nah, your stuff's not feeble."
To: Chad Fairbanks
We can blame the penguins.

I'm not sure what to make of null and void's tag line: "Schopenhauer said "A life without pain is a life without meaning" I want to give your life meaning." It's just a quote from Red Dwarf. Appropriate for the particular comment I was making that day.
