July 14, 2003 -- Is the world safer today than a year ago? Is America?
Who can fairly deny it?
Even the anti-war crowd can't gainsay the obvious: Operation Iraqi Freedom has made life vastly less dangerous for Iraqis. For Americans. And for the world.

I'm wondering if Gulf War I didn't just spoil a bunch of people beyond belief. Now there seems to be a notion out there that all ground wars should be over within 100 hours. God forbid we ever have to fight in Korea again. Not only would the cost of that war be high, but the gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands here at home would be well nigh unbearable.

Well, my goodness...
What a great way to return from vacation.
"Americans should be thrilled with events in Iraq."
I am...
"No matter what the liberal press says, they can rest a little easier - and a little more securely."
I sincerely hope they do...
Thanks so much for the ping!

But: The enemy's army is destroyed; the regime is gone; top Iraqis are in custody; the resistance has gotten nowhere; a government is being formed; oil's flowing; law and order are returning; electricity and water are coming back - and every day looks brighter. Well gee .. that pretty much slammed the lefts whinning, didn't it
IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!

"Peace Is Hell," Time magazine's July 14 cover blares, lamenting a sad, but small, number of U.S. casualties. Peace is barely heck. Iraq would have to be eating two orders of magnitude more GIs before it came close to Vietnam. The fact that it is eating GIs, however, will mean that we will have a lot fewer people joining the services on a whim.

And consider this, from the San Francisco Chronicle: "The war in Iraq . . . is like Vietnam on crack cocaine. Global protests started before the war began. Official deception was exposed within weeks. Troops have become demoralized after months . . . " San Francisco ?? You mean the one that Lefty LIB Nancy Pelosi represents ? This San Francisco ?? . . .
Here is a link to the SF-IMC site where these FAR LEFT LIBERALS posted an actual pic (below) of one of their Support Saddam/Terrorists events recently and changed the image when I posted/linked it to an FR thread. The pic at the top of that link of 2 Allied Soldiers transporting a prisoner to Gitmo was what they changed it to . . .
These folks at San Francisco Indy-Media are terrorist supporters . . .
Oh, the lurkers on FR from SF-IMC CANNOT change that picture (above) now since it is hosted by FR friendly sources !
Another little tidbit, speaking of anti-Iraqi Freedom folks!:

Peace means that the liberals don't have the military to lamblast along with their primary target the President (Read Republicans). Peace means liberals must create divisive social issues sure to tear at the Country's moral and ethical fiber and always designed to weaken the family, minorities, women and The Military.... Ann Coulter had it right when she identified in "Treason" the liberals as socialists in Moscow's Pay and this is the legacy of the Democrat Party today.

The quagmire is coming to Liberia if we send in troops. The Democrats just had the wrong war.

Thanks for the ping, Howlin! I needed to read this and stiffen my spine. The democrats and the media are in full attack; we must counter with everything we have.

I'll tell you one thing, the press is affecting troop morale....I talked to my hubby last night and he is constantly reassuring some of his troops on th support of the American people....the Rats plan of demoralizing the troops are beginning to work....shame!
