The church was rightly expelled from the Convention. However, look for the upcoming lawsuits which will force churches to hire such people. I am very concerned about this too. I think an attempt will be made in the near future (the next several years, maybe) to silence pastors who speak out against homosexual behavior. Possibly "hate crimes" law will be used as the excuse.

Any pastor who vociferously complains about the pro-homosexual agenda within the denomination to the hierarchy up in Mpls is told to shut up and roll over.
I know of one who is very saddened about the situation, but rather than fight (admittedly fighting the inevitable), he keeps his job and looks the other way... assuring his flock that the wolves aren't really carnivores.
