So true. The same media and Jewish groups (like the ADF) that were excoriating Nixon last year when his taped comments were released are now making excuses for Truman --- "It's so out of character." ...."We have to remember to consider the relatively anti-Semitic climate of those times." ....."Everyone knows Harry was really a great fellow." ....and so on.
The real story: Nixon was a Republican, Truman was a Democrat.
