This piece is a little old, but I think very important to those of us at Free Republic who abhor the bias in the main stream media.

Peta felt so patriotic after 09/11 that he finally broke down and
became a United States Citizen... last month.

This is why fox news is #1.
Unfortunately fox news itself is falling into the gurella war "quagmire" by placing an incredible microscope on every single casualty in iraq, just like all the other media are doing. And by fretting on "gurella war".

"R. W. 'Johnny' Apple, the legendary New York Times war correspondent, political correspondent and food and wine writer..." (crossing eyes & cocking eyebrow)
"Im going to begin by reading some samples from the American media coverage of the Iraq conflict. I admit to finding them delightful."
Well Brit's a "nice guy," so he obviously felt compelled to say something nice about the organized smears orchestrated by the lousy Liberal-Socialist Democratic lice who're infesting the nation's information system.
I on the other hand cannot be nearly as charitable discribing the miserable quisling's action(s).
Personally I'd found the Liberal-Socialist Democrat mediot's behavior -- as they busily executed their blatantly anti-American & plainly Socialist/Communist utopian agenda -- to fall somewhere between neurotic & psychotic; if, not altogether flat-out wierd.
...good read, bert.
