This view of diversity as respects our Constitution and liberty is highly destructive...and meant to be.... Just my opinion.

Which I whole-heartedly share, Jeff. So, how do we get these SOBs impeached? Of the present Court, only three justices seem to have any regard for what the Constitution requires. Of the others, at least one of them -- Sandra Day O'Connor -- seems to espouse a legal theory that can only be described as "textual deconstructionism."

The two recent decisions are completely frightening to me, chilling in their implications....

We have to get, or stay, active, very active. We have to raise the flag on these issues and educate others...and we have to enroll or convince others to do the same.

We have to encourage, even demand, that our representatives do the right thing, and we cannot be timid in so doing. Not railing, and with reason for sure...but direct. Sort of like we did with the 50 Million Round March campaign as respects the 2nd amendment.

Then we have to be willing to satnd when issues arise...as so many people on FR and elsewhere are doing...like we did at Klamath Falls.

...then, we have to have faith. The founders had a long, impossibly steep hill to climb in their day, with at least as many divisions and infighting as we have today. In the end, the hand of Providence opened the doors and either reduced the incline, or gave them the strength to make the necessary steps. As George Washington said....

"No country upon earth ever had it more in its power to attain blessings. Much to be regretted indeed would it be, were we to depart from the road which Providence has pointed us to, so plainly; I cannot believe it will ever come to pass. The Great Governor of the Universe has led us too long and too far to forsake us in the midst of it. We may, now and then, get bewildered; but I hope and trust that there is good sense and virtue enough left to recover the right path. " - George Washington
He knew of what he spoke when you consider what he had been through.

That's what I am trying to do to the best of my ability. I can only encourage others to do the same...and then wait on the Lord. My Dad taught me to work like everything depended on me...and then pray like everything depended on the Lord. Because it does.

Best Fregards my friend.

Jeff
