Anger Management
Liberal anger is justified, but it won't win the election.

They still haven't gotten over the election. No wonder they can't gain any traction with the American public. The libs sound like nothing but a class of whiners.

I love how he referred to Ann Coulter's recent publication as a "book". Those quotes really do it for me. Just completely de-legitimizes her book. Oh, and calling her a nut is an excellent tactic as well. Her footnotes can be ignored, you see -- she's a "nut". Hey! I used quotes! Just like him! Kewl!

OK, I'll take a crack at it- I constantly heard, during the run-up and 1992 election, from my 'rat friends
"He's no FDR...
...but he's electable."
Told me all I needed to know- too bad the internet & talk radio were not at their present levels back then.

"So the vice president seeks the presidency. He runs a soggy campaign, true. ....... Yet he loses -- according to the rules, at least."Glad to see them finally admit it, although it still doesn't keep him from crying about it.

Kerry just announced the LW should get over the 2000 election and the wackos at Dummyland are crucifying Kerry in effigy over there now in response.

For example, here comes Ann Coulter with a new "book" rehabilitating Joe McCarthy. OK, it's only Ann Coulter, and she's a nut. Liberals love to attack Ann, but never make any serious attempt to deal with the facts she presents. I wonder why...hmmm?
Furthermore, wait two or three years for a "scholarly" book or documentary (written or made with right-wing funding) to come out "proving" that McCarthy was a wronged man.
Which of course is exactly what Ann has done. Her book is a meticuously footnoted treatise, backed up by such sources as former Soviet defectors, Nikita Kruschev's own memiors, and most escpecially the intercepted Russian diplomatic cables from the Venona Project. No wonder liberals don't even try to seriously contest it.

In Georgia, a man (and sitting senator) who sacrificed his body for his country is labeled unpatriotic. This is my current pet peeve.
Liberals would like us to believe that Max Cleland dove on that grenade to save the lives of others. In fact, he reached down to pick up a grenade that he thought he dropped while hopping aboard a helicopter. It blew his arm off, and damaged his legs to the point where they had to be amputated.
He "sacrificed" his body for his country no more or less than any other man who served. Getting 'blowed-up' does NOT make one a hero.

Getting 'blowed-up' does NOT make one a hero. You are exactly right. I get a little peeved when I hear about what a hero John McCain is. He got shot down and captured. While I'm sure it was no stroll in the park, I'm not sure he should be called a hero.

Not only that, there is reason to believe that McCain gave his captors information about his family (father and grandfather were Admirals) to gain better treatment for himself while in captivity. I have no proof, but others are quite clear in their accusations.

Although whiney it doesn't have the shrillness of a Morford screed.

Anymore than Kerry should get a pass for his treasonous forked tongue because he committed a war crime in Vietnam and got a medal for it.
