We inherited freedom. We seem unaware that freedom has to be remade and re-earned in each generation of man.

Amen right back at you.

That is the most bizarre random ordering of unrelated words I have ever read.

Does it bode well for the future of our contry when no one at the Objectivist Center realized that the grammatically correct headline should read...

"What If There Was No America?"

The disintegration of language is not unrelated to the disintegration of culture.

Tip #223: The subjunctive tense of a verb is the "wishful thinking" tense. It always uses the verbs "were" and "would."
Examples:

If I were working at Bloomingdales, I would have a 20% discount on my clothes.
If you were young again, you would have more hair.
If I were you, I would move to the mountains.

Then I stand corrected, but do hereby announce that I will refrain from the use of the subjunctive tense, and join the forces of chaos.

I'd watch out, if I was you.
