Patrick "Patches" Kennedy: ...'I have never worked a [bleeping] day in my life'....

THIS JUST IN...

• As sometimes happens with Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.), he let his mouth race ahead of his brain Wednesday night at a gathering of Young Democrats at the Washington nightspot Acropolis. After presidential candidate Howard Dean spoke, Kennedy delivered an impassioned peroration against President Bush's tax cut. We hear that Kennedy told the crowd: "I don't need Bush's tax cut. I have never worked a [bleeping] day in my life." With that he got the audience's attention -- the dropping-jaws kind.

What little Paddy did to that Doctor he was running against in '94 was criminal. Despicable little $hit.

"Even though Carter was not a very good President,
he was and still is a man with very high character."

Exactly what does that mean -- "high character."
Does Carter's lying to the American people in regards to North Korean nukes
just to get a Nobel Peace Prize constitute "high character?" Or his recent trashing of
Pres. Bush and America's effort in Iraq?

She was retarded, but capable of taking care of herself and talking. In other words, she was an embarrassment.

What makes her any different than the rest of the clan?

A vicious campaign against Dr. Kevin Vigilante, a bit of a borderline RINO, but clearly an honorable man (he was an inner city doc who treated AIDS patients and other indigents !). Vigilante, of course, could not match Paddy and his never-earned-because-he-never-worked-a-day-in-his-life $$. There was a documentary made called "Taking on the Kennedys", which might be available for rent, which followed the campaign. If you can find a copy, you definitely should watch it...

Thanks.

Vigilante would be a really cool name for a congressman. :)

>>But JFK gave our nation real hope in a time of dire need with the Cuban Missle crises.........he showed immense fortitude in that dark time <<

I don't know where you heard that, but it's totally incorrect. Castro and JFK were playing a game of chicken and JFK dodged so badly that it was the darkest point of his presidency! I was around then and I remember the collective shame we all had in America.

I met a Cuban man just a few years ago and he told me how devastating it was to those forces who TRUSTED JFK to stand by his word and died believing his promises. He had tears in his eyes as he spoke about his friends dying and I believe we even lost some great American boys on that fiasco.

The Cubans stormed the beaches of Cuba. But JFK called back air support - thereby leaving them totally exposed to be slaughtered.

The only reason JFK is written about in glowing terms is because he was assassinated in Dallas. So-called historians can't get their arms around that sad part of our history so they love to make him out a saint.

In the same book I read about Bobby's wild children, ("JFK, The Man and the Myth"), it was said that Rosemary had a condition that caused her to become increasingly violent.

It also said (as I recall) Joe had to talk Rose into the procedure - which turned into a gigantic disaster.

Patches is the Paul Lynde (in every way) of the Stupid Show. And his relatives are not much better.

Ten to one, 99% of Freepers did not know this.

I'll bet 99% of Freepers know that Diem was assissinated on 11/1/63 and JFK on 11/22/63, not September and November, 1962, respectively.

Sorry for the incorrect dates. I surely hope freepers knew the dates better. The point of the duplicity of JFK, notwithstanding my incorrect dating of it, is nonetheless relevant in history's correct estimation of the inferior quality of JFK's character.
