There are lots of things to complain about when it comes to Islamic clerics and their excesses. They make great targets whenever we want to take time out from living the beliefs of our own religions and simply attack the beliefs of others. 

But seriously folks, we can’t honestly say that ‘Iraq will never see democracy because of its religion’. The largest nation where the majority of citizens are Moslem is Indonesia, which has a democratic government. The country that has the second largest bunch of Moslems is India. Turkey is not alone as an Islamic democracy. Most Moslem countries are despotic just as most countries of any religion are run by despots; but on balance, most Moslems are already democrats.
