Mighty hot there in the summer.
Green Balony.
Pink Underwear.
Perhaps he will receive a call to minister to sweaty men in pink underwear.
This indictment is just a place holder till they sort out a Vehicular Homicide charge.

It's no surprise to me, having seen the lying .... on TV, that he would continue his criminal career. Hopefully he'll be put away for the rest of his life.
The roman catholic church better get its checkbook out again. Maybe the pope and the vatican could contribute this time?
As a Catholic, I'm hurt to find out a minister of the gospel did not stop to help an accident victim, or at least, to call for help.
What happened to the Good Samaritan example to help people injured on the road?
It is time that all Catholics should be given a choice: either leave the country now or face public trial for public perversion!!!.
As any sane person knows, only the Catholic religion has perveted leaders, ignorant followers, and in turn has never contributed military or political heroes or made other significant contributions to America as all other major religions have in this country.....and in much greater abundance!!
Lets pillage this ill begotten faith and all of it's followers.
In the meantime, Please have a nice evening

Well...one can't help notice the crater in the windshield. Even if you were unsure of what had occurred, one would certainly be reasonable in desiring to know what it was that hit them and pull over, or even stop right then and there. Except for someone like Bishop O'Brien who has been publicly condemned in the press and internet forums, hounded by the prosecutorial arm of the law, and no doubt subjected to the criticism of the clergy in his charge and the laity he is to shepherd, if not his confreres. Could not have death threats been made to him? Certainly some of the bile as sampled on this thread could have made it's way in amplified form to the rectory of the bishop. O'Brien thought he was attacked! He didn't slow down or stop to render aid. He sped up to reach safety. If he wasn't aware of what he struck, it would be perfectly reasonable to believe that he was struck.
Of course, if that was his state of mind at the time, one would ask why he didn't report the incident to the police. I can only offer the response that he had been through a week dealing with the civil authorities, the following day, Sunday, was a busy one. The damage to the car can wait.
As far as the drunk charges: I don't know how far Buckeye was from the scene of this tragedy, but I don't know if the bishop would have had enough time to cop a buzz after mass. Those present at the mass, those who talked with him afterwards would be able to present a picture of his sobriety or lack of. An hour or hour and a half is not alot of time to get drunk beyond all sense of human responsibility IMHO. Does Bishop O'Brien have a reputation for drinking, Arizonans?
Anyway...just providing a plausable and charitable explanation.
For the record, he had just presided over a confirmation ceremony on the other side of town from 6 to 7:30. After the ceremony, he probably attended some sort of reception, as he did at my daughter's confirmation last year. The accident occurred at 8:30 which sounds about right as far as traffic, etc.
But ya know, I wouldn't blame him if he had had a nip or two...if you could see the way the media is treating him and Catholics as a whole here. Absolutely disgusting! They have special music and graphics on TV, calling it "Crisis in Faith," etc.
IMO, if someone leaves the Church over this matter, they were probably looking for a reason to leave. My Church and my faith were built on Jesus, not on any one man. We are all sinners, and even a man of the cloth can succumb.
