The failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq so far has been used against George W. Bush and Tony Blair by their political enemies in Europe. But very little has been made of it in the U.S., which bore the main cost of the war. Now, why would that be?

Because, despite the constant whining of the isolationists around here, the Bush administration did a great job of communicating to the American people the MANY reasons for ousting Saddam, not just WMDs.

Credit must also go to the democrats who spent most of the 90s pontificating about Hussien's WMDs. ;-)

Internet has made a difference - and EMBEDS...and FoxNews (new enemy of the Big Socialist media). Those on the left - around the world - watching the Iraqi people joyfully pulling down Saddam's statue were dismayed.

Tales of Saddam's Brutality [lengthy, graphic, White House websight] (includes lengthy press/Senate e-mail contact list)

1. I'm not convinced that we won't find hidden caches of WMD's. A bit more time will prove that out.

2. I know (as does anyone who's been paying attention) that Saddam has had and used WMD's on the Kurds and the Iranians. Guess that doesn't count with some.

3. Wonder how we'll be able to track and prove how much of the WMD stash has ended up in Syria's Bekkaa Valley. You know, the place with all of the world wide terror training camps.
