Jeff, not sure if Az Charlie's still has that - I even drive by the place everyday going to work! Observant, huh? That is one thing I've always liked about this town - the food and the price of it! Can't beat it.

I think my friend understands the obligations needed to do this. He really detests the school system here. So much so that he plans on moving over the hump to Pahrump very soon.

Pahrump--sounds like that scene from Blazing Saddles "I didn't hear any 'Pahrumps' out of you!" My wife's uncle owns a self storage business there.

Hello everyone. I always laugh when I see this article. My name is Chad Chisholm, and I am part of the All-USA 1st Academic Team along with Jennie Bauman and Christopher Burton. It's always amusing what is found in the media. Chris is 19, I have a 3.877 GPA, misquotes are found all over, etc etc. However, there is one thing that is for sure; homeschooling has changed our lives, and for the better. We have become closer to our families, we are more able to socialize with others, and we have excelled in our academics. I do not wish to sound boastful or whatnot, but the three of us are mentioning our achievements to support homeschooling as a positive schooling option. The media today speaks only negatively of this wonderful venture of both students and paretns. If anyone has questions for us (I'm in contact with all the 1st Team members), feel free to contact me! I guess the best way would be to post on this board (I'm so excited to find that such a board for discussion exisists!). Thank you to all the parents out there who make this possible. Your children will be truely grateful in the future.
