What on earth kind of statement is THAT? Do they think the students are going to be carrying concealed weapons...or that the teachers are going to pull guns on unruly kids?

I still say the most UNSAFE I feel is the places where I know NO ONE is allowed to carry a concealed weapon, i.e. schools and bars.

Agreed. That's why I've had to avoid public gatherings except for the America Rally in Centennial Park last March. I wasn't carrying there, for obvious reasons, but I still had my pepper spray on me.

The sad thing is, most folks licensed to carry concealed *DO* have common sense - criminals don't. That's what makes "no carry zones" scary.
